High Priest of Earth (大地神殿長) is one of the members of the Regency Council of the Dwarf Kingdom.
Appearance[]
He looks like the standard dwarf, with a long beard and a short stature.
In the Anime, the High Priest of Earth is a viable aged old man, possessing white robes and white hair. The top of his head is bald and his eyes are pupil-less.
Personality[]
The High Priest appears to have knowledge on the undead especially their unsavory reputation. Despite this, he appeared to be capable of maintaining a cordial conversation with Ainz Ooal Gown.
Background[]
One of the eight members of the Regency Council that rule the Dwarf Kingdom.
Chronology[]
The Craftsman of Dwarf Arc[]

During the negotiation with the Sorcerer King, when Ainz offer of undead labor was proposed, and question if they knew the advantages of undead, the High Priest voiced that they knew of their more common traits. After the initial negotiations, the next phase turned to deciding whether to accept Ainz's proposal to drive back the Quagoa and retake Feo Berkana, he was among the Regency that accepted the offer. Later Ainz would speak to the priest concerning about magical enhancements for a suit of armor he intended to gift one of hid subordinates. After the Sorcerer King departed the city to the old dwarven capital, the priest was among the councillors that saw him off.[1]

Mass for the Dead Arc[]

The Head Priest of Earth and the rest of the Regency Council were present at an inspection of the bathhouses of Feo Berkana that had undergone renovation after being destroyed by the Frost Dragon. Said renovations were completed under the supervision of Sebas, a representative of the Sorcerer Kingdom, who proposed it. The new bathhouses, which featured the "styles of the Sorcerer Kingdom" and "the inventions of the Sorcerer Kingdom," was well-received by the other dwarves. The Head Priest of Earth commented that he was delighted that the baths were reinforced with magic to prevent it from being destroyed again.[2]
Abilities and Powers[]
A member of the Regency Council the High Priest of Earth governs everything to do with magic and holds sway over divine magic casters and arcane magic caster in the kingdom.
Trivia[]
- This is the first High Priest from the Temple that Ainz Ooal Gown has interacted in an official capacity.
- In the English translation by Yen Press, the priest's name was changed to the "chief of the great earth shrine."
