Half-Elves (半森妖精) are a humanoid race found in both the New World and YGGDRASIL.
Background[]
Half-elves are humanoids born through the union of an elf and a human.
Appearance[]
Half-elves appear to be slender creatures like elves, however, their ears, though longer than a normal human, were only half as long as those of typical elves.[1]
Abilities[]
Half-elves appear to inherit the longevity of elves, one looking still like a young girl, despite five decades passing.[2]
Culture[]
Due to their heritage, half-elves often face prejudice and hardship, do not truly belonging in either of their parent's societies. The three human nations: Re-Estize Kingdom, Baharuth Empire, and the Slane Theocracy, regard half humans no better than demi-humans.[3][4]

- So far two characters in Overlord are half-elves, each possessing an elven father.
- In Mass for the Dead, a half-elf boy and his elven mother appear in E-Rantel.[5]
- In Isekai Quartet Ainz was able to identify Emila from RE:Zero as an Half-Elf.
