The Two Leaders Arc

Main article: The Two Leaders Arc

During the defense of Carne Village, against the forces of the Demon Snake of the West, Gurindai and his partner Shuringan shot volleys of arrows at them from the village watchtower. The tower eventually collapsed due to the barrage of rocks, forcing him and Shuringan to jump down to the ground. The pair were slightly injured by the fall but were healed by Cona. After they healed from their wounds they took their place alongside the village's defense force.[1]
