Griffins are flying mounts that can be rode upon by people in the New World.
Background
Griffins are used by the Royal Air Guard of the Imperial Army as air mounts. They can breed with mares, producing a creature known as a Hippogriff.[1] Griffins are classified into different variants.

Appearance
Though a griffin has yet to make an actual appearance, it shares traits with the Hippogriff, possessing the head of an eagle, fore talons and wings.
Abilities
Griffins are capable of flight and can be used as mounts.

- Griffins are more difficult to train than hippogriffs.
- In the Web Novel, it was revealed that the Throne of Bones were made of animals like Griffins.[3]
