Readers, this is solely because it is quite unclear whether the Web Novel materials have been carried/retconned over to the Light Novel. Therefore, it is a must for you to read both the light novel and web novel for yourself beforehand to find out and compare it to the main source material.

NoImage Alert.png Judging from the current state of this page, there is no available image on the Overlord Fandom as of yet to help emphasize its appearance. Since it is lacking visuals, this article requires an image for the first time, the kind which should be high quality and distinguishable. Unknown Intruder, you could go out of your way to assist the Overlord Wiki by adding an image that came from any Overlord adaptation to it. It cannot be a fan-art or fan-made. You must upload the official ones visually drawn by the main producers of the light novel, manga and anime adaptations.

Golem Cavalry (ゴーレム騎兵団) is the tentative name of a golem unit in the Beastman Commonwealth.

Background[edit | edit source]

In the Web Novel, the Beastman Commonwealth once used their golems to launch an attack on the Great Minotaur Nation. The battle with the minotaurs caused the Beastman Country to lose four of its eight centaur bodied golem cavalry. The loss of those golems were due to the weapons left behind by the so-called Minotaur Sage.[1]

Strength[edit | edit source]

At the peak of the unit's strength, it was composed of around eight centaur type golems. Each were eight-meters tall and displayed overwhelming power in battle.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Maruyama had pointed out in an interview that one of the main reasons he created Gargantua for the series was to have it fight the Golem Calvary that the commonwealth nation had in its possession should the story have ever reached that point.[2]
