“We are the subordinates of her Excellency, General Enri ─ the Goblin Heavy Infantry! Do not insult us by thinking we will be halted by this much!”
— Goblins announcing themselves to Prince Barbro's forces.

Goblin Heavy Infantry Corps is a division of the Goblin Army summoned by Enri Emmot.

Background[]

The Goblin Army's frontline division. They are soldiers equipped with tower shields and Piercing Bardiche Pole Axes for the medium-range offense. Each goblin soldier is fitted with a steel helmet and steel armor that covers most of their body.

Chronology[]

The Magic Caster of Destroy Arc[]

Main article: The Magic Caster of Destroy Arc

After Enri had summoned the Goblin Army, Crown Prince Barbro attempted to engage the demi-humans with a crane wing formation using the levies under his command. The Heavy Infantry Corps withstood the human army's advance and pushed them back easily.[1]

Strength[]

The Goblin Heavy Infantry Corps were equipped with tower shields large enough to cover their entire body. Their bodies were sheathed in steel armor and their well-used weapons gleamed with lethality. Their shield wall formation is considered impenetrable.

Compared to the conscripted levies of the Re-Estize Kingdom, the Goblin Army was a true army of professional soldiers with matching grit and confidence.

Trivia[]

  • A small group of the infantry based themselves in E-Rantel as they were seen by the Holy Kingdoms envoy when they first arrived.
