- When Emperor Jircniv Rune Farlord El-Nix inquired about frog-like monsters to Silver Thread Bird, a Giant Toad was brought up as the answer to his query.[1]
- In Isekai Quartet, four Giant Toads from the world of Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! were used by Rudersdorf as part of his security system to protect his wine.[2]
- In Bless Nazarick!, characters from Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! agreed to work under the employ of the Great Tomb of Nazarick so long as they did not involve Giant Toads. Ironically after the party returned to their own world, they were met by a Giant Toad.[3]
- In Overlord: The Undead Oh!, a giant toad was featured as one of Aura Bella Fiora's pets on the 6th Floor.[4]
