Garrote Ivy (絞め殺す蔦 (ギャロップ・アイビー) ) is a plant monster in the New World.

Appearance[]

It resembles a living ivy.

Abilities[]

It is an invasive plant that wraps itself around trees and lets its vines hang down from the tree branches. These vines would then catch any unsuspecting creatures that come within its proximity, kills them by strangling and then feeds by drawing any available nutrients from the corpses. Besides preying on living creatures, it will also drain nutrients from the trees it attaches itself to. Once a host is near its end, the Garrote Ivy would then stretch out to invade another tree and the cycle would continue anew.
