The 10th Seat of the Black Scripture. He is also known as the "Strongest Human".

Appearance[]

An old man with gray hair with a muscular body. He is a barbarian with a huge ax.

Personality[]

He appears to be a fight-loving man, taking an almost immediate interest in Momon after Lakyus compared his strength to his own.

When he meets another who is stronger or equal to him in power, his attitude was not of one admitting defeat, rather he treated them as an equal. In a way, he was the kind of person to not look down on someone who is likely to be stronger than he is.

Aside from this, like all Black Scripture members, he worships the God of Death, Surshana. He is also shown to harbor immense respect for one of his superiors to the point that he took immense insult at Azuth Aindra's referral to him as a "mere undead".

Chronology[]

The Bloody Valkyrie Arc[]

Main article: The Bloody Valkyrie Arc

He and the Black Scripture encountered a powerful vampire and tried to capture it but failed. Two of its members got killed while Kaire received a critical injury. The Captain of the Black Scripture ordered him and the other members to retreat and leave it alone.[1]

The Witch of the Falling Kingdom Arc[]

Main article: The Witch of the Falling Kingdom Arc

He accompanied his fellow Black Scripture teammates to the Re-Estize Kingdom during the height of its losing war against the Sorcerer Kingdom with the objective of recruiting and saving as many of the Kingdom's most talented adventurers as possible by inviting them into migrating to the Theocracy for their own safety.

The 10th Seat in particular accompanied three other of his teammates in negotiating with the Kingdom's two adamantite adventurer teams; Blue Roses and Red Drop's leader Azuth Aindra to join the Slane Theocracy. During the discussion, he was called out by Azuth as one of the powerful members in the Black Scripture. However, he said that is nothing impressive when they also have someone on his level or even greater than himself such as Evileye present. When his colleague, the 11th Seat praised herself on believing that not taking responsibility is a good thing, the 10th Seat whispers otherwise, saying that no one here was really taking that as a compliment for her.

After the adventurers refused the Theocracy's offer to escape to their nation, he nearly lost his composure when Azuth mentioned Rufus. As a result, he quickly shows malice towards the Red Drop adventurer and everyone from Blue Roses. However, he was told by the 5th Seat that it might be a bluff and they should leave the inn now that the meeting is over. He was given the order by his leader to not make any further rash move towards the adventurers despite the provocation brought up by Azuth.[2]

The Half Elf God-kin Arc[]

The 10th Seat was briefly recalled by Antilene Heran Fouche whist she was fighting against Mare Bello Fiore in the Elven Royal Castle.[3]

Mass for the Dead Arc[]

Main article: Mass for the Dead Arc

The 10th Seat was stationed with the Black Scripture in a camp of the Theocracy whilst the armies of the Tripartite Alliance fought against the Chaos Beasts outside the Alliance's capital. He and his comrades took no action when the Demon Emperor Jaldabaoth terrorized E-Rantel. Only when the demon and his minions were driven off did his team move out to pursue.[4] The Black Scripture followed the fleeing demon's trail into the Katze Plains where they lost him in the fog. Having lost their quarry, the 10th Seat was among those that wanted to retreat and relocate to the Northern Cave where the E-Rantel Magic Research Institute was setting up believing that they could be of more use there.

However the captain ordered his comrades to remain where they were to continue their search in the plains. After some time of scouring the plains, and killing undead in boredom, the group were about to give up when they encountered a lone wolf that seemingly appeared in the no man's land. The captain determined that the wolf was a familiar and attacked it, causing more summons to emerge from the fog in retaliation. The Scripture fought against the enemy and eventually drew out the summoner Shalltear into the open.[5]

He survived the battle and retreated with the remnants of his team. After the Black Scripture found a safe location to rest, he tended to the injuries of the 11th Seat of the Black Scripture. Later he obeyed the order of the captain to retreat back to their homeland.[6]

Abilities and Powers[]

According to Azuth, this member had gone beyond the level of heroes. He was viewed by all members of Blue Roses to be much more powerful than both the 5th Seat and 11th Seat. The man was described to have an intense, overwhelming pressure emanating from him that made the adamantite adventurers feel as though the space around them was being distorted simply by his presence. Lakyus noted how he might even be stronger than the skull-wearing demon that appeared during Jaldabaoth’s Demonic Disturbance.

According to Clementine, the 10th Seat is a barbarian. And was someone skilled with a club originally but was later given an axe after being recruited into Black Scripture, though he had to spend years to get proficient at using it.

Relationships[]

Evileye[]

The barbarian seems to admit that she is stronger than him and treated her like an equal.

Trivia[]

  • In the Web Novel, when estimating in terms of simple strength, the 10th Seat was among the Black Scripture members to be mentioned by Nigun.
  • In the non-canon game, where Clementine defeated a doppelgänger of Ainz Ooal Gown, the woman believed that she since she was able to defeat an undead of Ainz's level she had surpassed the 10th Seat.[7]

Quotes[]

  • (To Azuth Aindra): "Hahahaha… Looks like you know quite a bit about us. But, don’t you have one too? Someone like me, or even stronger than me?"
  • (To Evileye): "Evileye of Blue Rose. You're a hard one to deal with."
  • (To the 11th Seat of the Black Scripture): "They weren’t praising you."
