Fertility Prayer Costume (豊穣祈願の装束) is an item that appears in Mass for the Dead.

Description

Kyuko possessed two sets of these clothes made for her by a human villager at a village where she was worshipped as a fertility deity. After the villagers died out, Kyuko packed the kimonos in a tsuzura, taking it with her as she began her long journey to find others like her.

The fox girl had not taken out the kimonos for years, nearly forgetting about the memories of her old friends when she joined the Sorcerer Kingdom.

Though with some encouragement from Yuri Alpha she took them out to wear for an upcoming New Year's Day banquet. Kyuko allow Narberal Gamma to wear one of the set for the festivities.

Appearance

According to Narberal the kimonos looked similar in theme to Shiro and Nishikienrai's attire. Pandora's Actor even included some accessories themed for New Year's, which include some weapons to match the outfits, completing them as sets.

Abilities

According to Momonga the items have a different feeling from those in Nazarick or created in YGGDRASIL. After some study they were found not to have any special magical effects, but was admittingly well made for something not made in Nazarick.

Trivia

• After the banquet, the items were given to Pandora's Actor for study, and later handed to Albedo so they could be repaired after so many years of disuse.
• When they were returned to Kyuko, she had the opportunity to wear it again and perform a magnificent dance to pray for the abundance of the crops to be grown on the 6th Floor of Nazarick . It all seemed to be an experiment to see if the Abundant Harvest Prayer skill really did make crops grow well, and if it could be used in E-Rantel as well ――but the results are a story to be told elsewhere.
