Edström (エドストレーム) was the sole female member of Six Arms, the security department of the criminal organization Eight Fingers.
Appearance
Edström dressed lightly in thin silk. She had numerous golden bangles on her wrists and ankles that sounded every time she moves in her black, ballet flat-style shoes with a gold rim. She armed herself with multiple scimitars which were enchanted with 'Dance' magic.
Personality
She is shown to be very arrogant and cold blooded. She thought highly of herself and her comrades, thinking they could finish off Sebas as he is alone and it was not him who defeated Succulent. In the end, she is simply cruel, foolish, and prideful.
Background
A feared warrior in Eight Fingers that earned the title of "Dancing Scimitar."
Chronology
The Men in the Kingdom Arc
- Main article: The Men in the Kingdom I and The Men in the Kingdom II Arc
Edström first appeared when she and all available members of the Six Arms, excluding Succulent who was in prison, went to inspect the brothel after learning that it had been seized by the authorities. Upon hearing that Succulent and Cocco Doll had been captured by the authorities, Zero ordered Six Arms to bail them out, as well as gather information on those who were responsible for the attack on the Eight Fingers and punish them in return.[1]
Like the rest of her colleagues, she too was waiting for Sebas Tian to arrive at the arena where they would be planning to kill him. After Sebas killed Davernoch, she decided to use her dancing swords and form a sword prison around herself for defense while sending a few others to attack Sebas. However, she lost her head after Sebas chopped it off with incredible speed, but he posthumously applauded her for fighting back as her scimitars flew at Sebas even after she was dead.[2]

Mass for the Dead Arc

After Eight Fingers collapse, Edström found herself without a job and switched her talents as a worker. At a bar with Six Arms, they were approached by Hilma who invited Six Arms to work at E-Rantel using her new position at the Pharmacist's Guild. Zero not wanting to be in debt to her refused. Zero intended to build a new organization with his comrades in Six Arms. Edström became the head of the smuggling trade in Zero's nascent criminal empire. The criminal empire started slow but was gaining momentum however she and her comrades lost their noble backers as the Kingdom was cracking down on all illegal activities as part of their concessions to the new Tripartite Alliance. Though this set Six Arms back, it opened a new opportunity to head to E-Rantel as it was becoming the new center of the world.[3] Later in order to destabilize the Tripartite Alliance, Zero made a deal with Zurrernorn to complete their Death Spiral ritual. The criminal kept his comrades in Six Arms out of the loop of the plan, but they followed his direction and worked with him to guard the site of the ritual thinking it was just a normal job. In the ensuing chaos, Davernoch was killed and Zero escaped, leaving Edström and the others to be arrested for the incident by Blue Roses and their allies.[4]
Once Zero defected to the Baharuth Empire, he gained amnesty for himself and by extension his comrades, allowing the surviving members of Six Arms to be acquitted of their crimes. They acted as a unit to train and lead a group of workers to fight against a horde of Chaos Beasts that were heading towards E-Rantel. Zero was ordered by the emperor to lead the monsters into the Quarry where the imperial knights would box the Chaos Beasts and eliminate them. Zero followed his orders to the letter but when the reinforcements came he expected them to join in the fray. They did not and Zero suspected something was off. He then called his comrades to get off the quarry floor. That action saved their lives as the quarry floor was broken apart by a mechanism activated by the knights, causing the workers and Chaos Beasts to fall into the Melting Pot. The trap dissolved everyone that fell into the pit killing them. Zero friends who survived the trap watched in horror at the lengths of which the Bloody Emperor would use to achieve victory. On the contrary Zero praised the action as the best method worthy of a leader.[5]
After her harrowing escape from death, Edström left the service of the Bloody Emperor as she believed she would most likely die under his care. The woman became a worker and while soloing out on her own came in contact with Davernoch who to her surprise was still alive. She joined him in a job working with the remnants of Zurrernorn in helping to kidnap bride candidates coming into Re-Blumrushur. Their activities were noticed by the royal family who sent the protagonist's team and Blue Roses to investigate. The two workers captured a pair of women who applied for the bridal selection, who turned out to be a disguised Evileye and Narberal Gamma. Edström fought against Evileye using her sword technique but was no match for the magic caster's magic and was knocked out.[6]
Abilities and Powers
The scimitars that Edström used had 'Dance' magic imbued into them. Just like the name, the weapons moved as if they were dancing and attacked automatically, increasing the number of attacks several folds. She was able to manipulate weapons easily using magic due to the two abilities she possessed, one was her abnormally strong spatial awareness and the other was her ability to move her hands independently from each other to perform different actions at the same time. Thus her dance worked due to the strong synergy of cognitive distance skill and having very flexible thinking. According to Zero, Edstrom can make a sword barrier with her floating scimitars.

Quotes
- (To Zero): "Ah, right. So boss, what should we do? Do we kill Succulent who got caught? He's at a station so it'll be hard to use force. Then we'd have to borrow an assassin from a different division... what do we do?"
- (Her final thoughts before death): "Impossible. It can't be. It must be an illusion. I couldn't have been defeated. He did nothing to me. I can't move because of some kind of magic. Somebody say something."
