Dwarven Army is the main military force of the Dwarf Kingdom.
Background[]
The Dwarven Army has protected the Dwarf Kingdom's borders for generations, but it has been steadily losing ground against the encroaching Quagoa Clans.
Chronology[]
The Craftsman of Dwarf Arc[]
- Main article: The Craftsman of Dwarf Arc
The Dwarven Army stationed at the underground entrance to Feo Jera received news that the Quagoa had breached the fortress guarding the suspension bridge that allowed travel across the Great Rift. Realizing the severity of a full-scale invasion, the Dwarf Commander ordered the gates to be closed.
With the Quagoa at their doorstep, the Dwarven Army feared they would not be able to keep them out. The dwarves however received unexpected reinforcements from the visiting Sorcerer King, Ainz Ooal Gown.[1]
Later the army participated in the clean-up measures after Ainz's Death Knights massacred the besieging Quagoa and re-established control of the fortress that guarded the bridge.[2]
Strength[]
Despite being the face of the Dwarf Kingdom's national military might, it mostly specializes in countering a specific enemy: Quagoa. It's made up of small garrisons that guard dwarven holdings. However, one of the main issues that the Dwarven Army faced is the lack in manpower. The total number of soldiers that the army is made of barely amounts to a hundred. Thus, its forts had to draw its defenders from their meager pool of troops, and they had to do so in numbers which would not invite censure. Within its ranks are three mages that are capable of at least 3rd tier magic and are considered the most powerful assets in the army.
Trivia[]
- The Dwarven Army has four main fortresses that specifically protect Feo Jera.
- The Dwarven Army also safeguards the few tunnel doctors charged in maintaining the underground tunnels.[3]
