- In Overlord IV at the dwarves’ feast, duck was served as a dish.[1]
- In an Overlord: The Undead Oh!, a chapter brings up the Japanese expression "Duck's Water Scratching" (
鴨 の水掻 ) which is a saying that states that even though a duck seems to be floating comfortably , its webbed feet are constantly moving beneath the surface of the water. This is a metaphor for the fact that there is a hidden struggle going on.[2] - Due to the proverb above, Aura Bella Fiora joked about Albedo scary multi-tasking being compared to a sleipnir, though Shalltear Bloodfallen compared the demon as a kamopnir (
八本鴨 ).
