Dogs are non-human creatures like cats.

Abilities

Dogs are known to sniff and have excellent smell. When excited they are known to pant. In the New World, dogs are domesticated and can be used as guard dogs. Additionally the word dog was synonymous with obedience. Additionally humans in the New World are known to train them as hunting hounds. Dogs were also used more illicitly in illegal blood sport games like rat killing.

• Shalltear Bloodfallen considers herself a loyal dog to Ainz Ooal Gown. Though after being mind-controlled planned to turn him into a dog after she beaten him in a duel.
• Dog can be slang as a derogatory term, as used by Gazef Stronoff when he fought the Sunlight Scripture. Or when Ainz laughed at Guu's threats.
• Some characters in Overlord are noted to have dog-like appearances, such as Pestonya Shortcake Wanko who has the head of a Shetland dog and Panasolei Gruze Day Rettenmaier who's face resembled a bulldog.
• Renner Theiere Chardelon Ryle Vaiself considered Climb as a puppy and personally wants to keep him chained up as a dog.
• Zanac Valleon Igana Ryle Vaiself and Barbro Andrean Ield Ryle Vaiself's eying for the throne was akin to two dogs feuding over a bone.
• In Overlord: The Undead Oh!, Renner uses a puppy to lick Climb's fingers in game of "What's in the Box."
• Frost Giants were said to use Frost Dragons they defeated as hounds.
• Ankoro Mocchi Mochi was stated by Ainz to have a pet dog.
• Some monsters like the Hound of Tindalos resemble a beagle dog.
• In Mass for the Dead, Albedo compared Jircniv Rune Farlord El-Nix promoting the Halloween event, a Sorcerer Kingdom custom, in Arwintar to curry favor akin to a dog wagging its tail.
