Death Spreading Brigade (死を撒く剣団) was a group of mercenaries in the Re-Estize Kingdom of the New World.
Background
Death Spreading Brigade is a mercenary group during times of war. However, its main occupation was raiding in times of peace. Their crimes consisted of attacking, raping and ransoming their victims outside the city of E-Rantel. Its base of operations, located in a cave three miles away from E-Rantel's North Gate by walking, was protected by traps and its internal layout hugely favored the defenders, allowing them to fend off numerically superior assailants.[1][2][3]
Chronology
The Bloody Valkyrie Arc
- Main article: The Bloody Valkyrie Arc
The organization was entirely wiped out in a single attack by Shalltear Bloodfallen and her Vampire Brides. Only Brain Unglaus, after suffering a total defeat by her hand, had successfully fled through a secret escape route.[4]
Strength
For a band of road bandits, they were relatively well-armed, organized and numerous, counting up to 70 members. Their headquarters was armed with various traps and defenses that made it more difficult to face them at their base. Their main strength had been Brain Unglaus, who was stronger than the entire band combined. However, all of this amounted to nothing against the terrifying power of Shalltear Bloodfallen.[5]
Known Members
Trivia
- Brain Unglaus is the only survivor of the Death Spreading Brigade while in the Web Novel, he was captured and turned into a Lesser Vampire by Shalltear Bloodfallen.[6]
- Several women used to relieve the lust of the bandits were found but spared from the fate that befell the Brigade.
