Dazen (デズン) was a member of a group from the Slane Theocracy that disguised themselves as imperial knights and attacked Carne Village.

Appearance[]

Like the other Slane Theocracy knights, he was garbed in full plate armor.

Personality[]

Background[]

Dazen was one of the men that impersonated knights from the Empire and raided several villages in order to draw Gazef Stronoff out for the Sunlight Scripture.

Chronology[]

The Undead King Arc[]

Main article: The Undead King Arc

When the Death Knight attacked, several of the Theocracy 'knights' were slain. Their morale plummeted when their Captain, Belius attempted to bribe his subordinates to forfeit their lives to save him. Their captain’s death at the hands of the undead only made them freeze in fear. However one of their numbers, Londes Di Clamp took charge and ordered them to be ready for a retreat and call for reinforcements. He called out Dazen and Maurette to dispose of the squire zombies that were created from their dead comrades.

Given that after Londes was the last knight to die prior to Ainz Ooal Gown appear appearing and ordering the knights to flee, it can be presumed that Dazen was among the surviving Knights.[1][2]

Abilities and Powers[]

Dazen was just an ordinary human with no magical powers. Since he was a knight of the Theocracy, he has skill with a sword.

Relationships[]

Belius[]

Belius was Dazen’s Captain and superior.

Trivia[]

  • In the Dazen’s role in the Web Novel remains unchanged in the Light Novel.
  • Dazen is unnamed in the Anime and he is never given an order by Londes to kill the zombies created by the Death Knight.
