Dakimakura (抱き枕) is a type of large body pillow.

Description

The making of dakimakura seems to bear some origin from Japan. Albedo is known to make them by hand in the form of Ainz Ooal Gown in order to enact her sexual desires when he is not around.

Albedo has plenty of these dakimakuras made in her quarters. For instance, there were several dakimakuras of Ainz in various poses that Albedo had already created.

Appearance

It resembles a full body pillow, about the size of a person. The pillowcase is usually decorated depending on the owner's taste.

Abilities

Dakimakura are mostly used as security objects for owners to provide psychological support.

Trivia

• In Overlord II Blu-ray 01 Special, Albedo made another dakimakura using cloth she bought with the gold coins she received from Ainz.
• Besides Albedo having made an Ainz Dakimakura, there is also similar Overlord merchandise like it being sold and bought on shopping sites online.
• One of the Homunculus Maids ponders if the Floor Guardian Overseer, Albedo, is willing to teach her a way to make a CZ hug pillow.
• In 2016, an official Ainz Ooal Gown nude dakimakura was actually released.
