Count Femel (フェメール伯) was a noble of the Baharuth Empire and one of few survivors of Emperor Jircniv's purge. Unfortunately, the Emperor later silenced him after using him to hire several worker groups to invade Nazarick.

In the Anime Count Femel was a middle age man with brown hair.

Count Femel was a cowardly and opportunistic person as he constantly tried to seek the Emperor's favor.
Background[]
Count Femel was a noble who survived the purge of the Bloody Emperor and constantly sought out the ruler for help. It can be said that Count Femel's standing within the palace isn't very good.

The Invaders of the Large Tomb Arc[]

As Count Femel was losing the Emperor's confidence, he tried to regain the Emperor's faith by carrying out a secret quest and employing various workers, including Foresight, to explore and investigate the mysterious Large Tomb.[1] According to Emperor Jircniv, all the information Count Femel had been given was about an unexplored ruin in the Great Forest of Tob.[2]
The Magic Caster of Destroy Arc[]

He was the noble who had been induced by Jircniv to recruit and dispatch the workers for invading the tomb. After his actions, the Emperor decided to dismiss Femel and used him as the scapegoat for the doomed to fail the invasion of Nazarick. Once beheaded, his head was brought by the Emperor to Ainz Ooal Gown as an apology for the incident. Ainz then turned Femel's head into a Death Knight right at the spot.[3]
Abilities and Powers[]
Though Count Femel's standing in the palace of the Empire was poor, he still possessed a great amount of financial power. His overall wealth is expressed as he was able to hire four veteran teams of workers and two adventurer parties. In addition, he was able to procure Sleipnirs, a feat which was uncommon even among aristocrats.
After his remains were turned into a Death Knight it can be assumed he now has all the abilities of the other Death Knights.

Jircniv Rune Farlord El-Nix[]
Jircniv is Femel's superior, being fearful of him, he wants to get on his good side. However, Jircniv only sees him as a pawn and does not hesitate to use him as a scapegoat. There are rumors that the Blood Emperor is giving him the cold shoulder. In the Web Novel, there was rumors of him also being demoted by the Blood Emperor.[4]

- Ironically Femel's attempt to regain the Emperor's favor resulted into his own death by the Emperor's order.
