A young woman with short blonde hair, a face that was well-kept, and the cuteness of a feline. Though occasionally she would show the fierceness of a predator. Her muscles were built around her body and she held the elegance of a feline beast as well. Clementine had purple eyes, though they flashed a light blue when she was irritated.

Clementine was a woman who felt confident and comfortable in her own abilities.

Background[edit | edit source]

Sometime in the past, Clementine was a member of the Black Scripture but ran afoul of them and now was not the run. She later joined the cult of Zurrernorn and began to assist them in subverting its nobles to a false god.

Overlord Second Half Arc[edit | edit source]

Main article: Overlord Second Half Arc

In Arwintar she witnessed the hired assassins from Ijaniya fail in attacking Archduke Ainz Ooal Gown after his maid Solution Epsilon easily defeated. Hiding in an alley, she expressed her disappointment to her partner who paid for the hit. While the assassins were sacrificial pawns, she wanted to see a portion of the rumored Archduke’s strength but was unable to see exactly what happened. Since she only saw Ainz raise a large gem before his attacks and made them submit, she assumes that he used a magic item. Clementine and her partner then hurried away to avoid attracting attention from the Windflower Scripture.[1]

Clementine would meet the Archduke again though under the alias of Cleman, as Duke Wimburg invited the Ainz to the secret cult. She guided the noble to his stone seat where he would sit, but the latter was disgusted by the accommodation that he grabbed it with a single hand threw it against a wall, shattering it. Clementine attempted to find him another chair that would suit his tastes but proved to be moot when the magic caster used his magic to conjure a throne of obsidian stone.[2]

The events of the party exceeded Clementine's and her partner's expectations, as the cult's authority was usurped by Ainz as the nobles present believed him to be the god, Jashin. Belief in him as a god increased when he performed a miracle and restore several years of youth to them. Clementine was stumped at what she saw and now that her organization's plans for the cult have now been replaced by Ainz. Archduke, who was said to have destroyed an army of 100,000 men single-handedly, was coming, she wanted to confirm his power for herself. It was only now that she understood how foolish she was. Seeing that they lost control of the cult, Clementine kills Duke Wimburg as he is partly responsible for allowing Ainz to come to the gathering. Then Clementine told her partner that she planned to betray Zurrernorn. To start she will catch the local Windflower Scripture and hand them the proof of the Miko Princess of Fire. And hopefully, run to somewhere where the cult and the Theocracy can’t reach them like the Roble Holy Kingdom.[3]
