Christmas Tree (クリスマスツリー) is a decorative fixture from YGGDRASIL.

Description[]

The notion of a Christmas tree was mentioned when Ainz Ooal Gown and the Floor Guardian fought Zy'tl Q'ae. After Ainz watched the Floor Guardians carefully fend off the treant's attacks through a combination of their strength and teamwork he eventually steps in, satisfied with their coordination and freezes Zy'tl Q'ae in time. The Overlord then proceeded to decorate its trunk with numerous vessels of exploding spheres, making the fearsome treant look like a Christmas tree, before exploding into oblivion.[1]

Appearance[]

An evergreen conifer that is decorated with baubles and tinsel and topped with a star.

Abilities[]

The Christmas tree has no abilities and it merely a decorative fixture for the Christmas holiday.

Trivia[]

  • Among an alliance of unpopular men spending the holiday inside YGGDRASIl, Momonga included, the tactic of dressing a tree monster as a holiday fixture using [Drifting Master Mines] and [Meteor Fall], was referred as a "Christ-it-hurts tree".
  • In Mass for the Dead, a Christmas tree was made using an Enhanced Treant bred by Demiurge.[2]
  • Evileye in her Christmas Costume, comes with a crystal tipped spear which is actually a scepter imbued with earth elemental magic. After throwing the scepter like a spear, she can control the magical crystal spear at the same time to dominate the battlefield. The appearance of the enemy pushed up to the heavens and being pierced through makes them look like a decoration of a Christmas tree.[3]
  • Slimeko in her Christmas theme costume, makes her resemble a Christmas Tree.[4]
  • A Chaos Relic was released along with the event, An Ice Room Is Built and a Holy Night Is Celebrated, features Blue Roses having a Christmas party with Christmas trees in the background.[5]
