Chacmool (チャックモール) is one of the Five Worst of the Great Tomb of Nazarick. He is the creation of Temperance and was stated to be a musical instructor.

Appearance

In the Web Novel, it is stated that he is a Chaugnar.

Personality

Judging by Demiurge's description, Chacmool appears to be one of the denizens of Nazarick that view humans as food or toys. After questioned by Ainz, it was stated that he will prioritize his creator's orders before anyone else. In the Web Novel, it is said that the musician is not known for following the rules, and is quite unfriendly, however unexpectedly upfront though it could be due to his race.

Background

Chacmool was created by Temperance and due to his setting was made one of the Five Worst, holding the title as Worst Personality.

Chronology

The Dark Hero's Story Arc

While making a list of possible items that the NPCs of Nazarick would desire from Ainz Ooal Gown, Shalltear Bloodfallen recommended that they add humans to the list. Demiurge agreed stating their comrades like Chacmool and Neuronist Painkill would find that request desirable.

The Paladin of the Holy Kingdom Arc

A group of Greater Doppelgängers were sent by Chacmool to the Roble Holy Kingdom to mimic the Pleiades for Demiurge's plot.

During a brainstorming session for devising an idol event with the protagonist, Demiurge suggesting soliciting the aid of characters with musical talent such as Chacmool and Neuronist Painkill.

Chacmool appears to command several Greater Doppelgängers known as the Erich String Orchestra.

Relationships

Temperance

Temperance is the creator of Chacmool. Thus, he commands the most respect and loyalty towards Temperance than all the other Supreme Beings.

Ainz Ooal Gown

During Demiurge's conversation with Chacmool, it was revealed that like all other NPC's of Nazarick, Chacmool is also loyal to the Last Supreme Being and would follow his commands without question and try to accomplish his given tasks as best as he could.

However, Chacmool, has uniquely openly admitted that his loyalty to Ainz is not absolute. As seen where he admitted to Demiurge that he would prioritize his creators orders first and foremost. Should Ainz's own orders counteract his creator's, it's likely that he would not obey the former when compared to the latter.

• In the Web Novel, there is an NPC that is referred to as the Master Musician.
