Centaurs (ケンタウロス) are a demi-human race native to the New World.

Background

There appear to be many species of centaurs with various differing features in either the upper torso and lower torso that make each sub-species unique.

Centaurs possess the upper torsos of humans, while the lower torso is that of an equine.

Base-line centaurs are noted to be one of the more mobile members of the centaur family.

Trivia

• There is a location in the New World called the Centaur Plains.
• The Beastman Commonwealth is known to possess four giant centaur golems.
• As stated by Blue Planet when giving a lecture on the constellation in the Amphitheater, the constellation Sagittarius is named after Chiron, a centaur and the mentor of Hercules. He was killed after Hercules fought a tribe of centaurs and was accidentally wounded by an arrow coated with hydra poison. Unable to bare the excoriating pain from the posion, the centaur gave up his immortality and died.
