Blood Oath (血判状) is a pact document from the Anti-Imperial Faction.
Description[]
The Blood Oath was supposed to be the founding document for a potential coup against Emperor Jircniv Rune Farlord El-Nix perpetuated by various disgruntled current and former nobles in the Baharuth Empire. However the plot of sedition was caught by the Bloody Emperor who intended to insert a spy in the faction's venue where all the nobles involved in the rebellion would sign their names. New Six Arms was contacted by the emperor to steal it so the emperor could have hard proof of treason against the Empire.
On behalf of the worker group, Regi and Shizuni infiltrated the venue taking the roles of a noblewoman and servant. Together they successfully stole the Blood Oath and delivered it to the emperor.[1]
Appearance[]
The Blood Oath is not actually a document, but a portrait of Emperor Jircniv that has the names of all conspirators of the Anti-Imperial Faction, written in fresh blood.
Abilities[]
The document had no special abilities and merely served as an oath of the faction to show their commitment and determination in overthrowing Emperor Jircniv.
However the names on the Blood Oath, revealed a list of slave traders and arms dealers from the Baharuth Empire and Slane Theocracy.
Trivia[]
- This is the fourth legal document to appear in Overlord, the first being the Guild Creation Scroll, the second being the Granisle Inscription and the third the Tripartite Agreement.
- Regi before stealing the item, noted that the portrait of the emperor drenched in blood must be some pipe-dream of the anti-imperials.
