Blazing Temple is the residence of Demiurge.
Background[edit | edit source]
The Blazing Temple was designed by Ulbert Alain Odle.
Chronology[edit | edit source]
The Undead King Arc[edit | edit source]
- Main article: The Undead King Arc
According to Momonga, the Evil Lords were Demiurge's elite guards who should have been assigned to sentry duty around the Blazing Temple. Instead, he encounters them and their master at the central mausoleum on the surface of the Great Tomb of Nazarick.
The Emissary of the King Arc[edit | edit source]
- Main article: The Emissary of the King Arc
A summoned Death Knight from Ainz Ooal Gown was sent to the 7th Floor to deliver a message to Demiurge. It was later directed to the Blazing Temple by the Evil Lords after it explained its mission.
Layout[edit | edit source]
The Blazing Temple mostly resembles a ruined Grecian-style temple with various columns scattered like they had violently collided with each other, and the statues of various gods had been profaned and smashed. The ceiling had been broken down, and the pieces were lodged in the ground. It gave the impression that demons had cast the gods out in their place in heaven. In the center of the temples, amidst all the desecration is a white throne where the ruler of the 7th Floor overseers his domain.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Though Demiurge’s domain is a ruin, he considers this temple an embodiment of his creator's appreciation and love for him.
- In the English publication of the Light Novel, Blazing Temple's name was translated to Red-Hot Shrine.
