Judging from the current state of this page, there is no available image on the Overlord Fandom as of yet to help emphasize its appearance. Since it is lacking visuals, this article requires an image for the first time, the kind which should be high quality and distinguishable. Unknown Intruder, you could go out of your way to assist the Overlord Wiki by adding an image that came from any Overlord adaptation to it. It cannot be a fan-art or fan-made. You must upload the official ones visually drawn by the main producers of the light novel, manga and anime adaptations. |
Blazing Temple is the residence of Demiurge.
Background[]
The Blazing Temple was designed by Ulbert Alain Odle.
Chronology[]
The Undead King Arc[]
- Main article: The Undead King Arc
According to Momonga, the Evil Lords were Demiurge's elite guards who should have been assigned to sentry duty around the Blazing Temple. Instead, he encounters them and their master at the central mausoleum on the surface of the Great Tomb of Nazarick.[1]
The Emissary of the King Arc[]
- Main article: The Emissary of the King Arc
A summoned Death Knight from Ainz Ooal Gown was sent to the 7th Floor to deliver a message to Demiurge. It was later directed to the Blazing Temple by the Evil Lords after it explained its mission.[2]
Layout[]
The Blazing Temple mostly resembles a ruined Grecian-style temple: various columns scattered as if they had violently collided with each other, with statues of various gods that had been profaned and smashed. The ceiling had been broken down, and the pieces were lodged in the ground. It gave the impression that demons had cast the gods out of their place in heaven. In the center of the temples, amidst all the desecration is a white throne where the ruler of the 7th Floor overseers his domain.
Trivia[]
- Though Demiurge’s domain is a ruin, he considers this temple an embodiment of his creator's appreciation and love for him.
- In the English publication of the Light Novel, Blazing Temple's name was translated to Red-Hot Shrine.
- In the non-canon game OVERLORD -ESCAPE FROM NAZARICK-, the temple does not appear though it has been replaced with a more European medieval castle.
