Beast King Mekongawa (獣王メコン川) is a guild member of Ainz Ooal Gown and regarded as one of the Forty-One Supreme Beings by the NPCs of the Great Tomb of Nazarick. He is the creator of Lupusregina Beta.

During his time in YGGDRASIL, Beast King Mekongawa joined Nine's Own Goal. When the clan got disbanded by its master, Touch Me, he would take part in the creation of a newly-founded guild alongside his former clansmen, ending up being one of the 27 guild members to have become part of Ainz Ooal Gown.
Other than YGGDRASIL, Beast King Mekongawa also plays another DMMO-RPG called Aberage with Nishikienrai together.
When Beast King Mekongawa heard that Nishikienrai was among the upper ranked players in the game with the title of Violet, he thought about quitting the game. This is because he was only at the Green rank, unlike his guild member who is higher in rank than him.
However, Beast King Mekongawa was encouraged by Nishikienrai to not quit the game as his friend was willing to group together with him next time.[1]
Beast King Mekongawa was among the members of the newly created guild, Ainz Ooal Gown, that attacked the Great Tomb of Nazarick.[2]

Let alone in YGGDRASIL, it seems apparent that friendship between the two extends to another DMMO-RPG called Aberage. His guild member, Nishikienrai was willing to play Aberage with him when he is in a dire crisis like almost quitting the game.

- In Mass for the Dead, Beast King Mekongawa is stated to be Lupusregina's creator as well as the homunculus protagonist of the game (alongside Herohero and Nishikienrai).[3]
- In a poll made by Maruyama he was one of four characters that the author considered to be introduced in Overlord Volume 14. However Luci★Fer won the poll, Beast King Mekongawa came in third while Blue Planet came in second and Whitebrim came in fourth.[4]
