Guild Members
Touch Me
Touch Me is a former guild member of Ainz Ooal Gown who entrusted Momonga with the guildmaster position after he stepped down. During the beginning of YGGDRASIL, Momonga planned on quitting the game while he was being PKed, but Touch Me saved him. He admires Touch Me greatly, stating that if it wasn’t for him, Momonga would not be where he was.
Tabula Smaragdina
Tabula Smaragdina is a former guild member of Ainz Ooal Gown. Momonga describes Tabula as a person obsessed with the settings of his NPC creations. Before Nazarick was transported and the NPCs came to life, Momonga modified Tabula's NPC settings for one of his creations, Albedo. Ashamed of what he did, Momonga doesn't know how to face Tabula anymore.
During the creation of the guild, Tabula thought that if someone other than Momonga became the Guildmaster of Ainz Ooal Gown, the guild would surely tear itself apart. Therefore, he wanted to join a different guild with Momonga.
Ulbert Alain Odle
Ulbert is a former guild member of Ainz Ooal Gown. He trusted Momonga with the final decisions without complaint. He even entrusted Momonga with his failed prototype of a World Item. He and Momonga were part of the No Cash Item Alliance.
Warrior Takemikazuchi
Warrior Takemikazuhi is a former guild member of Ainz Ooal Gown. He supported Momonga as the Guildmaster of Ainz Ooal Gown and his plan to clear the Tomb of Nazarick in one go.
Herohero
Herohero was one of the four guild members of Ainz Ooal Gown who did not quit the game, despite having not logged in during the last two years. He was the last of the three remaining members who logged in on the last day of the game at Momonga's request. Momonga greatly appreciated the gesture, but was miffed that he could not stay until the very last moment. After the transition to the New World, and taking the mantle as Ainz Ooal Gown, he swore to become a good leader who would put the concerns of employees first in Herohero's memory. At first, Momonga believed that Herohero had been transported into the New World due to him leaving shortly before the shut down of the server, which motivated him into spreading the name of Ainz Ooal Gown throughout the New World.
Peroroncino
Momonga considered Peroroncino to be like a younger brother and had a friendly relationship with him. They were on very good terms with each other and he would call Peroroncino just by his nickname. He and Momonga were part of the No Cash Item Alliance. According to him, prior to the formation of their guild, Peroroncino was one of the people in their clan that he was the closest to.
Bukubukuchagama
Bukubuku Chagama is a former guild member of Ainz Ooal Gown. She saw Momonga as her younger brother’s friend and gave her watch to him as a present.
Yamaiko
Yamaiko is a former guild member of Ainz Ooal Gown. Back in YGGDRASIL, they used to chat about private topics. However, due to the passage of time, Momonga seems to have forgotten a lot about it, which is something he regrets. Every once in a while, when trying to teach the Guardians, Momonga wonders what Yamaiko would do in such a situation, showing he still respects her skills as a teacher.
Momonga was a bit jealous of Yamaiko because she easily obtained the Shooting Star from a gacha machine in her first try while he had to gamble his entire summer bonus away just to obtain the item.
Punitto Moe
Punitto Moe is a former guild member of Ainz Ooal Gown. He thought that if someone other than Momonga became the Guildmaster of Ainz Ooal Gown, the guild would surely tear itself apart. Therefore, he wanted to join a different guild with Momonga. Momonga uses the guide that Punitto Moe wrote, the "Anyone Can Easily PK."
Bellriver
Bellriver is a former guild member of Ainz Ooal Gown. He thought that if someone other than Momonga became the Guildmaster of Ainz Ooal Gown, the guild would surely tear itself apart. Therefore, he wanted to join a different guild with Momonga.
Luci★Fer
Luci★Fer is a former guild member of Ainz Ooal Gown. However, Momonga did not get along with him. Once, the powerful golem that he made suddenly attacked everything around it. He put it off as a bug in the combat AI. Momonga remained skeptical and believed the error had been intentional.
Blue Planet
Blue Planet is a former guild member of Ainz Ooal Gown. Momonga wishes that Blue Planet could see the beautiful night sky of the New World.
Whitebrim
Whitebrim is a former guild member of Ainz Ooal Gown. He is a mangaka and the one responsible for the maids' visuals. Momonga felt nostalgic when he remembered him and how he used to say that maid uniforms are justice. Momonga wonders if Whitebrim is making his assistants cry with his excessive attention to detail.
Floor Guardians
Albedo
Before Nazarick was transported, Ainz changed Albedo's settings so that she would be in love with him as a joke, believing it wouldn't matter because he believed the game would end.
After Nazarick is transported and all the NPCs gain sentience, Ainz starts to regret his decision, mainly because he feels he ruined the hard work of his friend and Albedo's creator, Tabula Smaragdina, by altering her personality.
Another reason he regrets his decision is because while he admitted to himself that having a beautiful woman like Albedo shower him with love is nice, he can't help but feel that she acts like that only because of his manipulation. Coupled in with his lack of experience with real women before getting transported and his suppressed sex drive due to his status as an undead, the romantic relationship between the two is one-sided on Albedo's part.
While Ainz has told Albedo that the love she has for him is because of what he did, she expresses no distress, admitting she likes who she is now and even telling him that if Tabula Smaragdina was present, he'd accept a relationship between the two.
Despite all of that, Ainz still cares a great deal for Albedo like the other Guardians like they were his children. He also trusts her enough to manage Nazarick while he is away.
Currently, he is unaware of the resentment she holds to the other members of the guild and the guild name itself.
Shalltear Bloodfallen
Second only to Pandora's Actor, Shalltear is the NPC whom Ainz has the most knowledge of. Having been good friends with her creator, he considers her as Peroroncino's precious daughter. He assigns her the task of capturing criminals who have knowledge of magic or martial skill. After the mission goes awry and Shalltear is mind-controlled, he decides to take responsibility for his mistakes and kills her with his own hands. Afterwards, while he forgives her, she feels extremely guilty for her actions, but eventually recovers during the events in the Dwarf Kingdom when she is made ruler of the subjugated Frost Dragons and regains her self-confidence. She too is deeply in love with Ainz and often competes with Albedo for his affections.
Demiurge
Ainz considers Demiurge to be one of the smartest NPCs in Nazarick. He offers Ainz advice on what to do and takes great initiative to further his plans, such as masquerading as Jaldabaoth to raise Momon's fame and suggesting to make Nazarick an independent nation. However, the demon has a tendency to be coy with divulging his plans, believing Ainz is well aware of their full meaning and thus making repeating the information redundant.
Cocytus
Ainz entrusts Cocytus with the task of annihilating the lizardmen, which he ends up failing. Because of that, he worries that Ainz may leave Nazarick. He suggests sparing the lizardmen and letting them be part of Nazarick instead, which Ainz agrees to. Ainz gives Cocytus a second chance to redeem his failure and places him in charge of the lizardmen as punishment. As a result, Ainz is seeing improvements in Cocytus' leadership skills and critical thinking, such as when Cocytus focuses on fighting only the strongest Lizardmen instead of the whole army at once so as to achieve a swift and decisive victory.
Aura Bella Fiora
Aura is very loyal to Ainz and he entrusts her with a task to understand the forest and find any living beings willing to join Nazarick and set up a warehouse to store resources. She even becomes Ainz's guide to Tob Forest during one of his adventurer quests. Ainz looks at Aura more like a father who is protective and concerned for the welfare of their child, even once asking if she is eating properly.
Mare Bello Fiore
Mare is very loyal to Ainz. Unlike his sister, he's afraid to be scolded by Ainz. When Ainz sees Mare doing his job of disguising the Great Tomb of Nazarick perfectly, Ainz is impressed with his work. He is the first NPC to be given the ring of Ainz Ooal Gown from Ainz. Mare admires Ainz and considers him to be cool.
Victim
Victim is considered the ultimate weapon of Nazarick, as he managed to stop an invasion of players from infiltrating beyond the 8th Floor. However, such power came at the cost of Victim's life, a power that Ainz truly feels guilty for burdening on Victim, ever since the NPCs gained self-awareness in the New World. Ainz sincerely regrets a time when he may be forced to sacrifice Victim to protect Nazarick and always apologizes to the angel for the duty he holds.
Area Guardians
Pandora's Actor
Ainz sees Pandora's Actor as the embodiment of his chunibyou-phase, which he considers to be his greatest shame, and gets irritated by his strange antics, despite the fact that he looks cool with his appearance. Disregarding his outrageous personality, he is still Ainz's personal creation. Should Ainz give him an absolute order, he will not hesitate to fight to the death, even when the opponents are the other supreme beings.
Ainz actually considers Pandora's Actor as a treasure and a final trump card that preserves the identity of Ainz Ooal Gown, but considers him to be lame. He's one of the few NPCs who Ainz can speak casually too.
Pandora's Actor, being Ainz's personal creation, has reluctantly forced the Overlord of Nazarick to accept the eccentric shape-shifter as his son. However, he wishes to keep the personal attention he gives his 'son' a secret so it would not cause friction with the rest of the Guardians. Thus, he is forced to place Pandora's Actor low on his priority list to avoid his favoritism coming to light.
Kyouhukou
As a servant of Nazarick, Kyouhukou is loyal to Ainz just like the other NPCs. However, he hasn't been seen directly meeting Ainz yet. During the search for Hamsuke, one of Kyouhukou's servant roaches guides Hamsuke to meeting Ainz. Thankful for his service, Narberal is ordered to feed the small roach, showing that Ainz is comfortable around the insect creature.
Nigredo
Ainz uses Nigredo when he needs to use her surveillance abilities while searching for Shalltear. She opposes killing innocent people kidnapped from the Re-Estize Kingdom and tries to free them. She has been put in confinement alongside Pestonya because of this act, Ainz decides not to kill the remaining humans because Nigredo and Pestonya risked going against his orders to save them.
Pestonya Shortcake Wanko
Pestonya is the Head Maid of the Homunculus Maids and is loyal to Ainz. She opposes killing innocent people kidnapped from the Re-Estize Kingdom and tries to free them. She has been put in confinement alongside Nigredo because of this act. Ainz decides not to kill the remaining humans because Nigredo and Pestonya risked going against his orders to save them.
Pleiades
Sebas Tian
Sebas Tian is Ainz's butler whose original task was to protect him from danger. Ainz is reminded of Touch Me when he sees Sebas Tian's face since the two have similar appearances. When Sebas asks for some clothes and everyday living goods for Tuare, Ainz offers some clothes from his personal collection. Sebas refuses, thinking it's too much, so Ainz allows Sebas to take Tuare on a date to the capital to buy clothes.
Yuri Alpha
Yuri Alpha is Ainz’s maid. She is very loyal to him and, as one of the few good denizens of Nazarick, she is relieved when Ainz tells her not to kill humans without proper reasons. He orders her and CZ2128 Delta to assist Pandora’s Actor in moving the treasure to the Throne Room.
Lupusregina Beta
Lupusregina Beta is Ainz’s maid. She is the first NPC to truly anger and disappoint Ainz because she misunderstood the importance of her given task. Ainz forgives her, but warns her that she should not expect to get off so lightly should she disappoint him again.
Narberal Gamma
Narberal Gamma is Ainz's maid, the only battle maid of the Pleiades to accompany him to become famous adventurers under the name of Momon and Nabe for gathering information. Ainz treats Narberal as a fellow adventurer partner, despite her hatred of humans. He needs to always refrain her from showing open hostility to humans and lectures her to not use "-sama" with him, which will lead to misunderstandings about them while in their disguises. Her constant involvement with Ainz in the human population causes the other Pleiades and Floor Guardians to be jealous of her serving beside Ainz the most.
CZ2128_Delta
CZ2128_Delta is Ainz’s maid. Because she is familiar with all the mechanisms of Nazarick and her artificial status, Ainz brings her with him when he visits the treasury. He orders her and Yuri to assist Pandora’s Actor in moving the treasure to the Throne Room. When Pandora's Actor exaggerates his saluting Ainz, CZ2128 Delta lets out an "uwah," a sound that deeply hurts Ainz.
Solution Epsilon
Solution Epsilon is Ainz’s maid. He entrusts her and Sebas to collect information in the Kingdom. When Ainz offers her a reward for her efforts, she requests a few living humans, particularly pure humans. Ainz grants her request, with the exception of the humans being pure.
Entoma Vasilissa Zeta
Entoma Vasilissa Zeta is Ainz’s maid. Ainz cares a lot for Entoma to the point that he becomes angry, albeit hiding it, when questioning if Evileye killed her. She requests Ainz directly to give her a chance to fight Evileye again when given the chance as the reward, which he accepts.
Aureole Omega
Although never seen directly interacting with each other, Ainz is shown to trust Aureole explicitly due to her being primarily given the duty of monitoring the Teleportation activity of Nazarick and being given the duty of protecting the Tomb's Guild weapon to protect, showing that Ainz possesses utmost confidence in Aureole's abilities due to her being one of the most powerful NPC's of Nazarick.
Aureole, in turn, is shown to harbor the same religious devotion and loyalty to Ainz as all of the other NPC's, which is seen when she refers to him during her conversation with Yuri Alpha.
Sorcerer Kingdom
E-Rantel
Pluton Ainzach
As Momon, Ainz respects Pluton as his senior. Though he is at times uncomfortable with the level of closeness the man tries to get with him, not knowing Pluton's interest in Momon is keeping him in E-Rantel to serve as its protector. When he meets him as the Sorcerer King, Ainz still holds respect for him and even allows the other man to offer criticism to his decisions, unlike the NPCs. So naturally, Ainz enjoys conversing with him and seek his insights. His appreciation towards Ainz grows when the Sorcerer King gifts him with a high-class shortsword for his efforts.
Theo Rakhesir
Originally, much like a great majority of E-Rantel's populace, Theo harbored a hidden dislike and paranoia for Ainz due to his undead status and his actions during the Massacre at Katze Plains and remains in the city of E-Rantel in order to protect its people from him. However, upon overhearing Pluton Ainzach's conversation with Ainz regarding the future of the Adventurer's Guild and his desire to transform it into an actual guild to explore and expand the knowledge on the New World, rather than just being glorified monster hunters, Theo's opinion on Ainz changes completely as he begins to develop genuine admiration and loyalty to the Monarch due to his intellect and rationality.
Moknach
Ainz seems to have interacted a lot with the leader of Rainbow as his Momon persona, being sure that he admires Momon and respects him sincerely. A month after taking control of E-Rantel, he meets Moknach while visiting the Adventure Guild and the two engage in a conversation about the motivation and destiny of the adventurers who remain in Ainz's kingdom. While being sincere and direct with him and his party, Ainz is able to gain his respect and admiration.
Carne Village
The people of Carne Village are the first inhabitants of the New World Aniz encountered after saving them from an attack from the Slane Theocracy. Ever since being saved by Ainz, they have become profusely grateful to the magic caster and later become his loyal subjects by the time he founded his own nation.
Nfirea Bareare
Ainz is interested in Nfirea's talent and he considers him to be a dangerous person for it. After Nfirea finds out that Momon is actually Ainz, who saved Enri and Carne Village, the boy thanks him for saving the woman he loves and her home. Nfirea apologizes to him for deceiving him, saying that he wants to be as strong as Ainz so that he can protect those important to him, which Ainz declines, but will help him instead.
Enri Emmot
Ainz saves Enri and her younger sister from getting killed by knights from the Slane Theocracy. When they first meet, she is scared of his skeletal appearance and misunderstands his intentions. After understanding that he means them no harm, she thanks him and even asks for his name. Ainz has granted her special horns, which she uses to better her village. Later, when the village is under siege by the Royal Army, she surprises Ainz by summoning a Goblin Army of 5000 strong soldiers, becoming the first human to realize a hidden mechanic in an otherwise perceived trash item.
Nemu Emmot
Ainz first meets Nemu when he witnesses her and her older sister Enri being attacked. Upon saving them, the two haven't had much contact until he invites them and Nfirea to his home. While there, Nemu is awed and amazed at the throne room and she praises both Ainz and his guildmates for their home. Feeling joy and pride, Ainz takes Nemu on a impromptu tour of the Tomb of Nazarick before returning to the waiting room with her. After apologizing to Enri for the sudden tour, he mutters to himself to put Nemu on a list. Nemu hears this and asks about it, but Ainz quickly says it is nothing, but in truth, the little girl has made him so happy that he can't let her be harmed. While the two still have barely any contact, it is believed that Ainz truly cares about her safety while not sharing that information with his guardians.
Lizzie Bareare
When Ainz meets Lizzie, she sees the Wise King of the Forest and gets curious. She finds out that he is the adventurer that her grandson hired. After her grandson is kidnapped, Ainz suggests that she should hire him and he will bring Nfirea back to safety. When she asks for the price of saving Nfirea, Ainz tells her everything, which she accepts with little hesitation. After rescuing Nfirea, she thanks him and gives him his reward later for saving her grandson.
Lizardmen Tribes
When Ainz learned of the Lizardmen living in Great Lake in the Great Forest of Tob, he decides to launch an invasion on them as part of a test. At Cocytus' recommendation, he has chosen to make the Lizardmen his servants rather than an undead slave.
Zaryusu Shasha
Zaryusu is one of the few lizardmen that he can recognize by his possession of Frost Pain.
Crusch Lulu
Crush is one of the few lizardmen that catches Ainz attention and he can recognize for her snow white scales. After the conquest of the Lizardmen Tribes, he makes a deal with Crusch where, in exchange for resurrecting Zaryusu, she will have to notify him if the lizardmen are planing to revolt.
Zenberu Gugu
Zenberu is one of the few lizardmen that he can recognize by his unusually large arm.
Dwarven Runesmiths
As part of his agreement to dealing with the frost dragons, the Sorcerer King is given complete authority of all Dwarves who practice runecraft.
Gondo Firebeard
Gondo Firebeard is the first dwarf that Ainz meets. The dwarf is wary of him, but he eventually gains his trust and learns of his dream to restore his people's runecraft art. Ainz sees similar parallels of himself in Gondo, as the dwarf wishes to preserve the existence of runecraft , just as he wishes to preserve the Great Tomb of Nazarick and the memory of his comrades. It is due to this that Ainz offers his nation's full support to revitalize the runecraft art and make Gondo's dream a reality. Though despite Ainz's sympathy toward the dwarf, he soon finds him to be garrulous, at times dominating the entire conversation with his love of runecraft.
Other Subjects
Hamsuke
Hamsuke is defeated by Momon, Ainz's alter-ego, while trying to find and defeat a powerful enemy to make his name famous. She is subservient to him, acting as his loyal pet and steed. Despite Ainz's status as an undead giving Hamsuke a momentary scare, she quickly adapts and accepts his appearance. Ainz thinks she is undeserving of the title of Wise King of the Forest and is rather disappointed when he discovers she is just a giant hamster, though the New World residents consider her a fearsome beast.
Ryraryus Spenia Ai Indarun
After witnessing Ainz's power and being restrained easily by Aura, Ryrayus pleads for his life, offering to be his servant. His pleas for mercy are accepted and the Naga is given control over Guu's territory. Ainz is interested in his ability to sense the general emotions of a target, wondering whether this ability is a special talent or a racial trait of the Naga.
Go Gin
Due to his prior experience with Guu, who insulted his name, Ainz assumes Go Gin is an unsophisticated savage. Much to his surprise, the war troll is polite and courteous, making Ainz re-evaluate his opinion on War Trolls. Ainz is impressed with the troll's skills and personality that he wishes to recruit him into his kingdom, stating that Go Gin reminds him of Gazef Stronoff, due to his unwavering determination even in the face of death.
Renner Theiere Chardelon Ryle Vaiself
In the beginning, Ainz had very little contact with Renner and is only made aware of her existence by rumor and his subordinate Demiurge. He originally sees her as an asset based on the word of Demiurge and reputation. However upon witnessing her true personality and the murder of her father, Ainz views her as mentally compromised. Nothing to him but an outsider, he is wary of her as she could analyze him from a purely objective standpoint and thus threaten the image of a leader he has struggled to create for his NPCs.
Climb
Ainz first meets Climb during the Massacre of the Katze Plains, during which he orders his Dark Youngs to not touch him as part of the deal that Demiurge made with the Princess Renner of Re-Estize. There, the young soldier witnesses Ainz's duel with Gazeff Stronoff and, at the end of the battle, Ainz leaves the body of the warrior captain to him and Brain.
They meet again at the end of the Destruction of the Re-Estize Kingdom by the armies of Ainz. At the time, Ainz agrees to have a duel with him, during which Climb impresses him by showing the same willpower that he admired in Gazef, being determined to fight him to the death, even after he feels his mighty aura. At the end of the battle, Ainz praises his performance and proceeds to kill him. Upon his resurection as part of Renner's plan, he pledges his loyalty to Ainz in order to remain at the side of Renner and becomes his servant.
Greyrune
Steel War Maiden
Re-Estize Kingdom
Gazef Stronoff
When they first met at Carne Village, Ainz introduced himself as the one who saved the village. After Gazef left to face the Sunlight Scripture, Ainz admired his courage and strong will to face his own death. He saved Gazef's life from the Sunlight Scripture and defeated them in his place. Despite being a lowly human, he viewed Gazef as a respectable man.
When he met the Warrior Captain again at the Katze Plains, Ainz, unwilling to kill such a magnificent warrior, did his best to convince Gazef to surrender and swear his fealty to him. Even after Gazef refused Ainz's offer and was killed, the Overlord expressed no hatred for Gazef's defiance, stating with remorse that he never hated him. Ainz respected the Warrior-Captain's acceptance of death and cast an anti-revival magic on his corpse to ensure that the great warrior would remain in eternal peace.
Long after the Warrior Captain's death, Ainz still holds him to be the pinnacle of warriors in the New World, setting his personality and strength as a standard when evaluation other warriors.
Zanac Valleon Igana Ryle Vaiself
They did not meet in person until the second war with Re-Estize, during which Zanac, having earlier become King of Re-Estize after overthrowing his father, pleaded for mercy for his kingdom, to which he refused. Afterwards, they had a conversation on his true goal, to which Ainz said he wanted "Happiness".
From their short conversation with each other, Zanac had unknowingly appealed to Ainz's humanity and sense of mercy. After their talk, Ainz himself began to consider accepting Zanac and the Re-Estize Kingdom's surrender, showing how much respect he developed for Zanac as a fellow sovereign during their short interaction.
Later, after Zanac's murder and the defilment of his corpse by traitorus nobles and their mercenaries, who then offered Zanac's head to him as a sign of peace, Ainz expressed active fury and contempt for them for inflicting such an act to Zanac. Ainz, after ordering Albedo to give the dead king a proper burial, angrily ordered the nobles and soldiers, along with their families, to be tortured beyond remorse and forbidding them the mercy of death. Zanac's death was the impetus in Ainz's decree to make sure not a single citizen left Re-Estize unscathed.
Philip Dayton L'Eyre Montserrat
Originally, Ainz thinks very little of Philip and simply sees him as nothing more than a disposable pawn in his, Albedo's, and Demiurge's schemes to one day annex the Re-Estize Kingdom. However, upon his unexpected actions of stealing his grain supplies meant for humanitarian aid for the war ravaged Roble Holy Kingdom, Ainz is left completely dumbstruck by his sheer stupidity and, despite Albedo's initial hypothesis that a third party of similar intellect as herself and Demiurge was involved, Ainz easily concludes that Philip alone was the one to plan the entire operation and immediately pegs him as a moron and an imbecile.
Adventurers
Blue Roses
Lakyus Alvein Dale Aindra
The fellow adamantine adventure team leader of Ainz during his times posing as Momon. He meets her during the events of the Demonic Disturbance and is interested in her revival magic and the mechanics of the spell in the New World.
Evileye
A fellow adamantite adventurer of his Momon persona. Although at the start, he feels some resentment against her for attacking and almost killing Entoma, he controls himself and works with her during the Demonic Disturbance in order bring benefits to Nazarick. Meanwhile, he is cautious of the petite sorcerer, believing that she suspects him, in reality Evileye has fallen in love with Momon and tends to act excited and a bit nervous around him. He regards her as one of the powerful entities that he has encountered in the New World and considers her appearance quite bizarre.
Although he doesn't have anymore ill will towards her, while rewarding the NPCs after the end of the Operation Gehena, Ainz promises Entoma a chance to fight and kill Evileye as the arachnoid wishes.
Swords of Darkness
Although his time together with them was short, Ainz developed a genuine respect for the reletivly weak adventurers and felt a sense of kinship in them due to their strong bonds of friendship with each other reminded him of his own relationship with his Guildmates.
Later after three of its members were all slaughtered and three of their members raised into undead, Ainz would swiftly kill all three of them to put them out of their misery and personally made sure to make their killer suffer a gruesome death.
Ninya
Ninya was one of the adventurers who accompanied Ainz in his first mission. Ainz asked her some questions about magic from the New World. When he discovered her battered corpse, Ainz was a bit disturbed by the brutality inflicted. He would later avenge her by slowly crushing her murderer to death in his embrace. He allowed her sister, Tuare, to stay in Nazarick as a form of repayment to Ninya, since her diary allowed him to grasp some information about the New World.
Baharuth Empire
Fluder Paradyne
After seeing Ainz's overwhelmingly superior magic, Fluder swears his allegiance to him. He offers everything he has in exchange for be able to see the abyss of magic. Ainz's first order is for him to deliver sacrifices to his dominion. Unfortunately, Ainz is unsure how to educate Fluder on magical matters. So far, he has made the aged sage content by providing him with new magical arcana to learn from and discussing magical phenomena. He finds Fluder's submissiveness similar to the attitude to the Floor Guardians, if not more embarrassing, and 'his true face' is quite unnerving to the undead. Despite Fluder's declaration of his loyalty, Ainz does not fully trust him, as the wizard has casually sold out his country for his desires and thus is wary that he may do the same to him.
Jircniv Rune Farlord El-Nix
While Jircniv sees Ainz as an unfathomable monster, Ainz actually admires the human emperor in his leadership skills. Ainz actually takes it up to learn from Jircniv by magically spying on him to understand how to conduct himself as a fellow ruler. Unbeknownst to Ainz, his surveillance has been slowly causing Jircniv's mental decline.
Although Ainz looks to become friends with Jircniv and develop their friendship, the latter thinks otherwise but the opposite as a master manipulator who has the foresight to oversee his every ploy done in secret. This is seen when Ainz successfully foils Jircniv's attempt to team up with the Slane Theocracy and create the Anti-Sorcerer Kingdom Alliance. In his mind, Jircniv blames everything on Ainz for having ruin the Baharuth Empire's diplomatic relationship with the Theocracy and causing relations to break down. Jircniv has now completely given up in opposing him and has now simply begun focusing on solidifying his relationship with the Sorcerer Kingdom. Using the Sorcerer King as his only alternative left, he hopes to have the Sorcerer Kingdom's support to protect his own Empire due to the other nations now seeing them as complete allies with the undead and traitors to humanity.
Ironically enough, Jircniv becomes somewhat indebted to Ainz due to the vassalization of the Empire now solidifying his rule. This is seen when Jircniv realizes that this full vassalization and subjugation process under the Sorcerer Kingdom effectively helps him remove a considerable workload from his list of duties to do due to now having the Sorcerer King's firm backing. With the Sorcerer Kingdom as a supporter to his position as Emperor, all of the remaining nobles and the like who opposed his rule within the Empire have now been completely silenced due to not wanting to antagonize to the Sorcerer King. On the other hand, it actually gives him more free time to relax and rest due to no longer having to deal with the immense stress of having to run the Empire single handedly and handle the considerably huge administrative duties and issues within the Empire, a fact fully acknowledged by Jircniv and thus causing him to feel grateful to Ainz.
However despite this, Jircniv still more or less retains his initial fear for the Sorcerer King due to his power and intellect despite now having a slightly better view of him.
Osk
Ainz, wishing to promote his country, turns to Osk, a merchant and promoter for the Imperial Arena. Ainz appears to relate better with Osk as both of them are fellow collectors.
Dwarf Kingdom
Commander-in-Chief
Although he saves their kingdom and race from destruction, Ainz only sees the business opportunity and actually uses his desperation to achieve his goals. Their relationship is mostly business, with the latter relying on him for the next few decades.
Roble Holy Kingdom
Neia Baraja
While she served as his squire during the events in the Holy Kingdom, Ainz has secretly believed that she dislikes him because of her constant glare. Ainz has hoped to use her to show off the power of the Sorcerer Kingdom's "runecraft" weapons, but this fails. Ainz has shown that he trusts her loyalty and abilities, and as such, becomes angry when her superior officer uses his rank to speak in her place. Ainz is also stunned when she eventually views him as an incarnation of justice. While he is still put off by her glare, he is happy that Neia and CZ Delta are friends.
Remedios Custodio
Durning the meetings with Remedios, Ainz is possibly unaware of her true motives and pursuits, such as having him fight till he dies and not aiding him. But it isn't until the Paladin faces 3 Demi-human leaders that he becomes angry at her and her response to him saving her that he calls her in his mind a "bitch."
Through the course of the Liberation of the Holy Roble Kingdom, it is shown that both Ainz and Remedios developed a mutual dislike and contempt for each other, although Ainz's own was far less vicious between the two. Ainz himself considered Remedios to be a troublesome woman due to her emotional outbursts against him and her lack of intelligence in actually leading her forces through battle from a leader's viewpoint. Remedios in turn despised him due to his undead status and constantly held him in both contempt and suspicion for working with Jaldabaoth, albeit this mainly stemmed from her personal hatred for him and not from any actual intelligent insight from her.
Gustav Montagnés
Gustav initially earns a bit of Ainz's anger when he uses his authority as Neia's superior officer to not only inform Ainz of what happened during the meeting, but does so after Ainz personally tells them that Neia will be Ainz's eyes and ears. It is believed that after this incident, the two began to share a mutual respect as Gustav hasn't repeated his mistake.
During the course of the liberation of the Roble Holy Kingdom from the Demi-Human/Demon occupation, it is shown that Gustav himself has developed a strong respect and admiration for the Sorcerer King. Mostly due to his far more competent military tactics, and realistic advice on how to efficiently win the war with the fewest casualties possible. During the course of the war, Gustav comes to truly trust Ainz due to him being a far more effective leader than Remedios.
Slane Theocracy
Nigun Grid Luin
Ainz Ooal Gown marked him as an enemy the moment he threatened the people of Carne Village, who he had saved. Despite Nigun's and subordinates' numerous attempts to injure Ainz, Ainz found it academically interesting, not seeing them as a threat. When Nigun pulled out his Sealing Crystal, only then did Ainz take him seriously, but only until revealing a slightly weak summon. Ainz grew tired of toying with the human supremacist and decided to break him. He had Nigun tortured, but sadly wasn't able to gain much from the man as he broke and died too easily.
Black Scripture
Although the group is still unknown to him personally, Ainz holds immense anger and contempt for whoever (Black Scripture) was responsible for brainwashing Shalltear. His hatred towards the ones responsible start to develop when they had partially brainwashed one of his Floor Guardians,Shalltear Bloodfallen that forced him to kill her himself. In a way, he has personally vowed to hunt the unknown group down and make them pay for their transgression against him and his "children". Later after learning the Black Scripture involvement in the brainwashing incident with Shalltear, after capturing the Black Scripture’s Ace, Ainz immediately ordered the redirection of the Sorcerer Kingdom’s forces and began making preparations to invade the Slane Theocracy in order to inflict his revenge on them.
Enemies
Clementine
Ainz confronted Clementine as Momon. He was angry at her for killing the Sword of Darkness members, saying he was using them to spread his name. During their battle, Ainz learned a lot about martial arts and then killed her in his true form with a bone-crushing hug.
Guu
Guu thought that long names were proof of cowardice, so he saw Ainz as a weak being. He was irritated when he discovered that Ainz was the one responsible for building the fort in the forest. When Ainz tried to negotiate with him, he rejected his offer, stating that he didn't want to hear anything from cowards. He fought against Ainz, but all his attacks were in vain and in the end, he was killed. Later Ainz resurrected him as an undead troll.
Others
Akemi
Ainz knew about Akemi as she was Yamaiko's sister, and sometimes visited Nazarick but that was all as he barely knew anything about her.
Rubedo
Rubedo is the strongest being in Nazarick. Ainz expects that he should give a world item to “Them” in the 8th floor to beat Rubedo if she one day turns against Nazarick. Ainz comments that the experiment to start up Rubedo has been more or less a success and that he doesn't plan on moving her for now. When Albedo asks to take Rubedo into her squad, Ainz rejects the thought of doing so, but later allows her to use Rubedo anyways.
Later, as stated by Albedo, despite Ainz's wariness of Rubedo, she, like all of the other NPCs within Nazarick, is completely loyal and faithful to Ainz as the Last Supreme Being. Albedo states that if it wasn't for Ainz's order for Rubedo to listen and follow her commands and orders, Rubedo would not follow or listen to her orders and likely see no point in doing so unless ordered to by Ainz despite the two being sisters.
Homunculus Maids
The Homunculus Maids are the forty-one maids created by Whitebrim, Herohero, and Coup de Grâce. They all are loyal to Ainz and some of them even refer to him as the Wise King and other titles. Ainz creates a new system where the Homunculus Maids are split into two groups, 30 of them for the day shift, 10 of them for the night shift, and the other maids who are left out get to take the day off. Initially, the maids refuse the one day break. However, Ainz manages to convince them in the end by promising that if they accept the break, the maids that take the break will get to service him for the whole day. The maids accept it because they think that they need to fully take a rest so that they can serve Ainz properly the next day.
Tuareninya Veyron
Ainz considers accepting Tuare into Nazarick as a form of repayment to her late sister Ninya, since her diary allowed him to grasp some information about the New World. Ainz, in particular, is shown to support her relationship with Sebas and allows the two of them to go on dates outside of Nazarick.
Pinison Pol Perlia
Ainz is Pinison's benefactor, since he is the one who recruits her to become a subordinate of Nazarick. In truth, Ainz blackmails her to join under the threat of death from the awakening of Zy'tl Q'ae. She accepts out of survival and places her services in his hands. She originally thinks of Ainz as a fool, but upon seeing him in his true form and the terrifying power he wields, her whole reality is shattered.
Foresight
Ainz met the worker party while posing as Momon as part of Demiurge's plan to lead invaders from the Baharuth Empire to Nazarick. While he viewed all of the workers as greedy pigs to be slaughtered, he seemed to have take a liking to the Hekkeran's group after traveling with them for a week and chose them to fight him and at least give them the deaths of warriors. Nevertheless, at the start of his mock battle with the party, Hekkeran's lies erase his good will for them and he decides to give the four the same fate as the other worker groups. However, after paralyzing Hekkeran and witnessing how the remaining members are more than willing to sacrifice themselves to help Arche escape, he praised how strong their friendship is and gave Arche the mercy of death while the remaining three members would suffer a fate worse than death, with Hekkeran and Imina being used as nesting room for Gashokukochuuou, while Roberdyck is experimented on. Later, Ainz is shown to still more or less harbor the same dislike during the battle at Katze Plain of how they were all "rats".
Buser
Upon meeting the Bafolk Lord, Ainz noticed that Buser had a belt made from human babies skulls. Ainz offered Buser a chance to surrender and invited him to become his follower, but was rejected. After he showed the difference in power between them, Buser begged to be spared and offered his tribe's full cooperation. However, Ainz had lost interest in him and viewed the Bafolk as worthless. He decided to kill him, as Nigredo and Pestonya would never accept a monster that would kill human infants. In addition, Ainz viewed Buser's use of the babies skulls as a belt to be wasteful.
Violet
Upon meeting with the alraune, Ainz found the plant to be visually disgusting. Though her eyes reminded him of Neia Baraja. While speaking to Violet, Ainz was surprised in the etiquette of her speech given her rustic origins from the forest. The undead suspected that the plant was mentored by the dark elf twin or perhaps spouted vague pleasantries on behalf of its subordinates.
