Achievements for Tomorrow, Variations of the Past (明日への偉業、昔日の異形) is a game event in Mass for the Dead that was released on February 21, 2024 to March 6, 2024.

Background[]

The journey to other side of the Crack, the successful rescue and survival of the people in the Chaos Realm. Representatives from all over the world gather for a commemorative ceremony to honor those who attempted this first human feat. Seeing everyone in Nazarick excited about the espionage plan for the visiting Antilene, Momonga thinks back to the past...[1]

Incident[]

Several months have passed since the disaster that struck E-Rantel. While preparations for the rescue mission to the "other side of the Crack" are underway, at a bar in the Re-Estize Kingdom, Blue Roses is seen talking among themselves about the upcoming mission. The twins Tia and Tina note that soon the equipment that will allow them to move of the other side of the Crack will be provided to them. And that the adventurers can only hope that the people trapped on the other side are still safe.

Gagaran still wishes for something faster to be done, though Lakyus Alvein Dale Aindra comments that this "rescue mission" into the territory of the Chaos Beasts is a dangerous but important operation. Not only that from what the noble heard, there is a movement to hold a pep rally before the departure. The news is a bit unusual, though not unexpected given the size of the operation by Tia. Gagaran dourly thinks that the endeavor is a last wish or send-off for the nations' survivors, as if they don't return they'll be in deep shit.

Evileye voices that the new equipment provided by the Sorcerer Kingdom for the operation has been tested, but adds that the equipment is quite burdensome to the user, including its weight. So she asks Gagaran if she want to make any last wishes. To Lakyus the issue of the equipment of the Sorcerer Kingdom does not bother her so much, but more for themselves and fighting spirit and that they should appreciate the gratitude of the Sorcerer Kingdom.

Though Evileye adds that if this operation fails, then the Sorcerer Kingdom will be pushed against the wall. Hence why Lakyus states that is why they will distribute the equipment, as an solemn act for their ally. This makes Gagaran complains that they upcoming rally will not be a part with food, although Lakyus adds that they might be served a meal, but warns her companion not to get too carried away.

At Ro-Lente Castle, Mayor Panasolei meets with Prince Zanac and Marquis Raeven to discuss about the pep rally that the royal and noble will be attending. The prince clarifies that he plans to turn away any nobles who might want to approach the Sorcerer Kingdom, which the marquis states that it is fortunate that the rally is short notice as not many seats are available. This relieves the mayor somewhat. Zanac explains that the pep rally is only for the purpose of encouraging the Sorcerer Kingdom and motivating those who will be participating in the event. Thus the Re-Estize Kingdom will not send out anything that will obstruct the Sorcerer Kingdom. Above all, Zanac doesn't want to bore those in attendance with his political rhetoric and dig into internal turmoil of the kingdom.

Panasolei expresses some positivity that this rescue mission, for those trapped on the other side of the Crack will be hope for all humanity. And that they should raise the momentum at this send-off party. At the same time show their gratitude to the Sorcerer Kingdom once more as it has facilitated the future reconstruction of E-Rantel and the cooperation of each nation. On that last part, Raeven his concerned about the cooperation of the Slane Theocracy. He wonders at what extent they Theocracy will still hold unto their human supremacist values, and cooperate with the event to aid the Sorcerer Kingdom.

Zanac is not troubled as the Theocracy's Sunlight Scripture are on the side of those who are challenged to accomplished great deeds, and the ones being tested, so there will be no complaints. Anyway there are factions among the Cardinals and others in their nation. On that note, Zana asks the mayor if he received any word that the Pontifex Maximus will be participating, which Panasolei reports that he has not received any response regarding the attendees from the Theocracy. Despite this Zanac believes that there is not need to be worried, rather than that he doesn't want to think that there are people in the Quadripartite Alliance who can't honestly celebrate this ceremony. Raeven admits that is true, as everyone, including them are desperate for the favor of the Sorcerer Kingdom. But still the noble finds it dismal that there are still people who don't understand reward and risk.

Elsewhere in the Round Table Room, Momonga had received news from the protagonist that a send-ff part will be held and so gathered the Floor Guardians to discuss the development. Though the event is to thank the Sorcerer Kingdom for preparing the necessary equipment for rescuers to cross into the beyond the Crack, Albedo surmises that each nation has its own priorities in the rescue operation. Though she can tell that each nation wants to regain its human resources and so holding this ceremony is not unexpected.

Demiurge affirms it is so, and points out that they might want to reiterate the safety of their equipment, as a form of remining them the importance of their work. The rescue mission to the other side of the Crack has participants representing strong men and women from various nations. If they lose them, the humanity will lose hope. If that is the case, Albedo suggests that they might be approached about providing the only equipment the Sorcerer Kingdom can manufacture in the future. It seems that without humans and the equipment neither will be able to move forward.

Hence Momonga believes that for this reason, many high-ranking figures from each nation will be participating in the pep rally. In regards to the attendees, the Sorcerer King wonders what it happen. Since there will be a ceremony, Albedo deduces that representatives from each nation will gather. If so, then she as Prime Minister of the Sorcerer Kingdom will attend to show her authority and dispel the concerns of the humans.

For Demiurge the gathering of such dignitaries at the ceremony, offers a unique opportunity for intelligence. The demon proposes, that if Albedo goes, everything will go smoothly, but more than that, by showing that the Sorcerer Kingdom will not follow the pace of the other parties, they can gather more information by looking in the responses of each nation. Though Albedo replies that this could be taken as a sign by the other nations that the Sorcerer Kingdom is not willing to participate in the ceremony, or even think their kingdom is in a bad mood or being obstinate.

That is the goal by Demiurge, as he wants to see how the other nations will treat them. It would be more useful to see their reactions and how they respond. Momonga also agrees to this scheme, as since it is a ceremony for the Sorcerer Kingdom, there is no need to adjust to the other nation's convenience. After all this is a gathering of people showing respect to them through formalities. In other words it is all for flattery, under an unofficial ceremony.

There is no concern that there will be any problems with the specialized equipment during the rescue operation, but there may be some uncertainties regarding who will use it. If they get nervous and get sick during the ceremony, that's a shame.

If the operation fails, even if the Sorcerer Kingdom won't be held responsible, the protagonist will have to scramble to follow up again, and that worry is more concerning. Thus Momonga plans on sending both Aura and Mare as goodwill ambassadors from the Sorcerer Kingdom as the twins have been to E-Rantel many times, and he thinks they would be able to make the formal ceremony soft and relaxing.

Aura and Mare are excited by the prospect couches on their master’s decision. The decision likewise is agreed y Demiurge and Albedo as it was expected. The latter confuses Momonga, wondering what they kind of ulterior motive that the think his decision was based on.

Later on the 6th Floor outside in forest from the Amphitheater, the dark elves are rushing to Crack for a subjugation. However the tasks doesn’t dampen their excitement on their upcoming participation at the ceremony in E-Rantel, and wonder what Albedo and the others learned of Momonga’s ulterior motive behind his decision.[2]

In the inner sanctum of Slane Theocrcay. In an sacred and inviolable room, a total of twelve people with the highest authority and one individual who was allowed to participate in the conference gathered, and an important discussion that would influence the nation was underway.

Among those present is Raymond who moves forward on today's most important topic. This is of course about the pep rally that will be held in E-Rantel. The ceremony honors those who are brave enough to go beyond the Crack. Now the question lies on how should the Theocracy get involved? He opens the floor to his esteemed fellow comrades, on their opinions.

The members of the meeting notes that Zanac will be attending as a representative for the Kingdom in place of the king who is I’ll, and Jircniv himself will be attending for the Empire. And as for the Sorcerer Kingdom side, it looks like the dark elf twins are coming. This draws a question Prime Minister Albedo’s absence. Wondering perhaps maybe it's a sign that she doesn't have confidence in the equipment that adapts to the Crack. Other speculation is brought up in that maybe the Prime Minister does not consider the pep rally as a political event. To the possibility that the intention is to constrain the current situation where the Theocracy is enslaving elves.

This leads them to think maybe the Sorcerer Kingdom sent the elves to pretend to be goodwill ambassadors as a clever diplomatic tactic. The group is aware that both the Kingdom and the Empire enlisted the aid of the Sorcerer Kingdom to rescue their vital people, but in their country, Enhela was the one who rescued the Sunlight Scripture and their vital individuals.

In other words the Theocracy owes the Sorcerer Kingdom less than the other countries. As of now, the Sorcerer Kingdom has lent special equipment to allied rescue teams that they could have had a monopoly on at home. In that case, there remains the possibility that elves were brought out to emphasize the Theocracy’s narrow-mindedness and exclusivity.

Some of the members in the council argue that their reputation isn’t totally tarnished especially in the last disaster. It was only through the efforts of the Sunlight Scripture that they were able to reduce the damage. That fact and honor cannot be overshadowed.

However the facts and impressions are two different things. If the Theocracy act short-sighted and claim credit, then they might end up following the Sorcerer Kingdom’s plot. That being said the other nation is a really troublesome bunch. As much as it's really helpful to humanity, the Kingdom is a bad influence and, there's bound to be a lot of trouble at the end.

Enhela takes a moment to speak, to calm everyone down. He reminds them that the popularity of the Sorcerer Kingdom within E-Rantel is immense. If they offend them, even if the Sorcerer Kingdom does not make a move, the accusations against the Theocracy will be quite severe.

Raymond admits perhaps he overreacted to the appearance of the dark elves, noting those twins have shown their faces often at past festivals in E-Rantel. So maybe they don’t have to be that careful. But he is rebuked by one of his colleagues stating that it is possible that the Sorcerer Kingdom's goal is to make people think that way. There seems to be no end to this speculation due to the groups doubts. Some argue that they should not approach the situation without any strategy when a trap is likely.

Raymond urges his peers to stay calm. Repeating that they should once again discuss what should be done for the country. Enhela in his own thoughts, finds the discussion tiresome wishing to see the Sorcerer Kingdom focus on their operational activities in the "Chaos Zone." Still even he didn't realize that the seeds of an uproar would come from the Theocracy, even if it is his own people. And worries about things not going his way conveniently.

Elsewhere in a hallway some distance from the meeting a talk is being held by two people, the 1st Seat of the Black Scripture and Antilene. The 1st Seat comments on the meeting held by their superiors and that it has not yet come to an agreement. But also it seems that there is a consensus that there is no excuse for not cooperating in the event.

The event piques Antilene’s interest, wondering if the ceremony is like a festival. The 1st Seat says that it could act as such as everyone will be praying for it to be an auspicious event. If the operation is successful, it will give hope to humanity. Since many people will gather, Antilene distantly wonders if "that child" is also there. This raises a question from her companion who asks who she is talking about. Antilene dismisses I’m her words to be nothing, claiming she is just curious about the new equipment. This is a rare occurrence to the 1st Seat, as he can't believe she cares so much about the outside world.

Meanwhile the priests that gathered in the sacred, inviolable room of the innermost reaches of the nation were astonished at new information related to a topic that had never seemed to come together. Raymond is shocked to god that the Extra Seat has shown an interest in the ceremony. Enhela comments that this information is from the captain of the Black Scripture, so there's no doubt about it. Others in the conference ask where they two are going on with this.

No matter what the Extra Seat does, there's nothing she can do...even if she's on the brink of death, even the Black Scripture that she belongs to must be kept secret. One strongly advise against allowing her to go out in a public. Normally that would be the premise. The same applies to the outside world, as they cannot afford to expose their nation’s dark side to the people. But there are voices that they should consider the well being of that child.

The desperate, who have been so reverent to them, have shown their will in a rare instance. If they take this lightly...there's a concern that she might wander off somewhere. There is some speculation on if the girl is still interested in having dark elves as a representative of a Sorcerer Kingdom.

Enhela agrees as even if you are not from the same hometown, it is reasonable to show interest in beings of the same species. Although she doesn't seem to be concerned about the fact that she has lost her memories.

Raymond conveys that maybe she is concerned about matters that may be related to her. After all the dark elf twins eyes are proof of royalty. It's certainly something that he and the others in the rooM are concerned about.

Even so the gathered want more information on the elves at all costs. From the information gathered from the Clear Water Scripture and the reports from the Sunlight Scripture, it seems that the twins are quite strong. There's a non-zero chance that he's related to that Elf King of the Great Sea of Trees. And a possibility that he's still alive and connected to the Sorcerer, something some in the room can’t help but think about such a situation.

Given the current situation of the Great Forest of Evasha, information about it will have a value that may even affect the survival of the country. If they could ask have her ask the other party on the issue it would be well worth it. Although the priority should be to reduce her mental anguish and burden.

This raised accusatory tones from the others in the room, as if they do as he suggests they will be exposing their hand, and the strongest one at that. Something that they should avoid. But arguments are made in that if that child strongly desires it, there is no way they can stop her anyway. Hence some m think it would be better to let her go to E-Rantel, in order to avoid the risk of offending the most powerful being in the country.

Raymond  then asks another person in the room, Infinite Magic, on her opinion of the Extra Seat’s situation. Infinite magic replies that she is afraid to even ask about the expression on the Extra Seat’s face. The girl honestly want to do something about it and yet can't do anything about it herself. That being said, Enhela claims it would be better for them to send her in a state where we can know her location, rather than having her go missing again.

According to Raymond, their country’s doctrine, state that it is impossible to exalt a non-human in a high position. However, in this rescue operation requires the full strength of humanity. Thus they could reframe their creed stating that “their country welcomes talented people as friends, regardless of their race, to create an alliance.”

All Infinite Magic can say she is glad she won’t be the one to say that to the other party. The conversation then move to the external reactions as there will be a problem at hand with the unrest by the people. Contact between the twins and the girl will be great benefit to the Theocracy. Though in order for the twins to come in contact with that girl she will need to have an official status within the nation. As there would be no chance that the representatives of the Sorcerer Kingdom would approach a person with no guarantee of their identity.

There is still the blowback from the public if the council treat half-elves as public figures for the Theocracy. Raymond though states that it is already too late to be upset on that issue, as the Empire is already in bed with the Sorcerer Kingdom, connected to a corrupt Kingdom using demi-humans and undead. Of course the cardinal agrees that they should avoid an turmoil that would divide the nation, but he reminds them of the urgency of the situation.

The others need not be reminded as they dealt with the public when the council was still strong. And know full well that they would still receive backlash from people no matter how they explain. A case in point is the premise of the crisis of situation that destroyed the Argland Council State which even their nation considered dangerous.

It is only natural that the council should explain carefully, but some would like to reiterate the understanding that the idea of exterminating other species is only a means to an end, and that the goal is the survival of the human race. The council they decides to carefully consider the content of explanations for domestic use separately. But before that a break session is declared.

During the interim, Raymond and Enhela are seeing walking in a hallway together. The cardinal tells the Deputy Pontifix Maximus that it's up to them in the field. That he will do the ceremonial address, etc. while the dead and dying, will be taken care of by Enhela. Enhela muses that even former members of the Black Scripture have enough death and dying. Raymond defends his reasoning, stating that Enhela’s assignment was solely based in light of his track record of quickly retrieving the Extra Seat. The deputy understands and promises to make sure to watch over the Extra Seat and not interrupt his duties as representative of the Theocracy. Raymond states that they all have reasons for the circumstances, but vows to be helpful to her as possible.[3]

At E-Rantel, in the Adventurer's Guild, the protagonist was having a meeting with Pluton Ainzach about preparations for the ceremony. In regards to security the protagonist states that the Sorcerer Kingdom will be assigned the task per usual, with some cooperation from the Kingdom, Empire and Theocracy.

Ainzach believes that is a shrewd move, as though the sight of undead protecting the city is common place for those in the city, it might be a shocker for some distinguished guests, thus the undead will need to be chaperoned. Surako hopes that those assigned the task will be okay, but the guildmaster believes that it will be okay. Those that do the task will think it as a great opportunity to show their toughness to the world accompanying the undead.

Besides working with the undead is far easier than working with soldiers from other nations. This is mostly because unlike humans, undead are open-minded and honest. Now that concerns for security are done, the protagonist believes that they are all set for the ceremony-related preparations.

The guildmaster found the discussion very helpful. He apologizes for involving the protagonist in the tedious task. The protagonist being the Territory Guardian of E- Rantel, does not mind. In truth he feels more relaxed when doing something. This is noted by Surako that the protagonist is still worrying over something.

Ainzach chalks it being worried about the ceremony, which has the"seal of approval" from the upper echelons of the Alliance for the accomplishments of the Sorcerer Kingdom. The Guildmaster believes that the protagonist’s power of speech will increase accordingly. But with that comes a certain responsibility.

The protagonist understand this as there will be more concern than ever about fairness among their allies. However, all of this will only happen after the success of this rescue operation. First of all, they still have a mission in front of them to do.

Surako agrees as they must succeed at all costs. For the sake of the guildmaster, who is concerned about the future. Ainzach believes in the hero, and offers to lend an ear if he needs any further advice as the Adventurers' Guild is an organization independent of state authority. Thus he is sure that will come in handy more often than not.

The protagonist is willing call upon the organization’s impartiality if needed. Though also doesn’t want to put any cracks in the Quadripartite Alliance that they have built.

Ainzach admits the new equipment of the Sorcerer Kingdom is likely to be a good commercial tool for backroom deals. He personally has seen enough of this and would like to keep it quiet.

And suspects that Mayor Panasolei probably set up the ceremony as a conspicuous stage in the hope that it would have the effect of preventing such countries from playing games.

The concerns about backroom deals is not an issue to the homunculus as in this situation where the Kingdom and the Empire are now completely puppet states, though the only concerning factor is a move made by the Theocracy.

A knock from the door is heard, and a member of the guild staff reports she received a communication from the Kingdom regarding the ceremony. Both guildmaster and TerritoryGuardian take a look at the missive, finding it to be a letter describing the attendees. Names includes are from the Kingdom, His Royal Highness Prince Zanac and Marquis Raeven. From the Empire, Emperor Zircniv and two knights. From the Theocracy, there is Raymond, the Cardinal of Earth, and Enhela, who is an Deputy of the Pontifex Maximus. So far the list looks roughly the same as he did at the Trilateral Talks, until he and Surako spots a new.

Ainzach noticing their interns in the name explains that the person has the title of a Special Guest. He doesn’t recognize but the two adventurers do.

Shortly later, Momonga receives a message from the protagonist and learns the names of the attendees from Theocracy, so he gathers Albedo and the others in his office and “hastily conducts a horenso.”

Albedo immediately recognized the name of the person the protagonist reported on the Theocracy’s guest list: Anteline. Demiurge guesses that it’s probably the same Anteline who was an insanely strong woman who Shalltear came in contact with in the Azellisia Mountains. But it is surprising that she is affiliated with the Theocracy as she a half-elf. And the demons wonders if that could be the reason for her strength.

Albedo states that cannot be as there is no information that the forest elves in that area are that strong. In any case, I’d someone like Anteline is good enough to attend the ceremony, then she must have a suitable status within the Theocracy.

While the letter did not specify what Antilene’s role in her country is, Momonga states that the protagonist guesses this is a response to the fact that the Sorcerer Kingdom had Aura and Mare attend the pep rally.

In other words, to Demiurge the Theocracy understood Momonga’s aim. According to Albedo it is expected given they are in the diplomatic area.

Momonga is clueless on what the are you talking about. He attributes their words to making assumptions to what he had said at an earlier meeting. His only intention for sending out I Aura and Mare was that it would be safe if they were to be sent to E-Rantel.

He is not alone is what the two are referring to as Shalltear questions the Overlord directly. Given an opportunity to get some answers himself, Ainz directs Albedo to explain “his” plan. Albedo complies, explaining to Shalltear that elves are currently slaves in the Slaine Theocracy. That was the case before the world split, there was a war between the Elf Country and the Theocracy.

Under such circumstances, the Sorcerer Kingdom, which could be called the guest of honor at this send-off party, sent out elves as its representatives to evoke a response. Shalltear now sees that this move was an appeal to not just show the Sorcerer Kingdom’s affiliation for elves but an act that strongly resembles a protest against the Theocracy.

Demiurge states that as a supplement, for E-Rantel, Aura and Mare are people who are familiar to the city. Even if he had some kind of intention on the Sorcerer Kingdom side, there is a basis for them not to think that way.

Albedo calls the Theocracy’s move of sending a half-elf clever, as they are currently the only country that has not been turned into a puppet. And maybshow their concerns “subtly” in a public setting such as the ceremony.

Demiurge states he was shocked when Momonga immediately decided that Aura and Mare would attend. He wondered if this was the aim of sending Aura and the others to E-Rantel so often. Momonga nervously states that is pretty much it, but he didn't expect to be able to bring out the existence of Antilene to the center stage, claiming it was a happy miscalculation. His humbles awes Demiurge.

For Momonga, he is now starting to understand the whole situations. It's true that the Theocracy can't afford to lose the mood of the Sorcerer Kingdom over the rescue of important people in the future, and they’re in a situation where they have no choice but to take some kind of reaction.

Aloud he tells his subordinates that he never expected that a country that believed in human supremacy, no matter how strong they were, would have elves and half-elves, and would do something that would reveal their true nature.

According to Albedo from the Theocracy’s point of view, she can think this act to be considered a major concession on their part, and a step towards that goal. Of course, she is sure there are other objectives and unique circumstances within the country. To Momonga at the very least, it's an act that just lets them know about their intentions.

Demiurge laughs, as by treating the elven guests respectfully, the Theocracy's are probably trying to curry favor with them. Of course, there is a possibility that this was a ploy to make then let down their guard. Albedo confirms this as the relationship between the adventurer Shall and the Sorcerer Kingdom is unlikely to have been communicated to the Theocracy's side. If that's the case, there's a non-zero possibility that Antilene was sent to the Sorcerer Kingdom as an assassin.

The 7th Floor Guardians doubts the Theocracy are that stupid, then it would be easy to conquer. In any case, it can be said that this is a good opportunity to gather information on the Theocracy. Since they seem to be interested in their "equipment," he thinks they can use that to their advantage. Momonga then turns to Shalltear, asking if she understands. She does, in other words, her purpose is to make contact with Antilene again and play the role of information gatherer.

That is right, and Momonga states that currently, Aura and Mare are supposed to go to the ceremony, but if Antilene is coming, it would be good to have Shalltear go as well. For her cover story, Demiurge suggests that it be an easy one like, Shall, the adventurer, came to wish her acquaintance success. The only concern Momonga has is the uncertainty of what extent Antilene cares about seeing her again.

The vampire, indeed, felt she was being a bit elusive at the moment, but assures Momonga that her strong personality has not been forgotten. In any case, Momonga believes it would be better if she was there, so that everything would run more smoothly, including the rendezvous with Aura and the others. Albedo also adds that they will make Antilene less cautious and make it easier for her to contact Aura and Mare since they are elves. Even if they should engage with Antilene, the three of them should be able to handle it. Momonga states that the venue is at E-Rantel, so they can set up security around the area and resolve the various concerns. Albedo and Demiurge are ready to give some suggestion regarding that security net.

Later at the restored Lemegeton, Shalltear comments that she missed the meeting about the security net afterwards because it was about time for her to get to work. Still she wonders what Demiurge has in store for this plan. Heading into the Throne Room, just in time for it to erupt to bring the Chaos Beasts for her to cull.[4]

In Momonga's office, Sebas Tian enters, bowing to his liege who summoned him. Momonga called the butler because, among other things, would like to ask for his cooperation in security for the upcoming pep rally in E-Rantel. Sebas is happy to assist. Demiurge explains to Sebas that among the attendees of the ceremony is Antilene, the enigmatic Theocracy powerhouse they had been keeping an eye on.

Sebas is aware of Antilene, hearing a report of an unidentified strongwoman whom Shalltear encountered before. The news of her being a representative of the Theocracy though is shocking. Momonga understands as apparently, that person has elven blood. Aura and Mare who appear as representatives of the Sorcerer Kingdom, may have prompted Antilene's inclusion which could be a sign of appeasement on the part of the Theocracy, though this is all just conjecture from his part.

Therefore, Demiurge is planning to take measures to extract information from the Theocracy. Since the Theocracy will not be so foolish as to make a bluff at the ceremony, they will probably make their move in the city after the ceremony. Sebas now see, as in case the Theocracy has a plan, it will most likely take place in the city as well.

Demiurge thus would like Sebas to keep a close watch on the person in question in the city. In the city, Shalltear will assume her undercover identity as an adventurer, and with Aura and Mare, and will peacefully contact Antilene. Demiurge adds, with permission from Momonga, to assign Narberal Gamma to watch over the city. She and him will coordinate their efforts, and then we'll discuss it amongst ourselves.

Sebas this has questions, such as what exactly is Demiurge's exact role in the plan. The question annoys Demiurge, as he feels the butler is criticizing a plan approved by Momonga. This is not at all the case by Sebas. With permission by Momonga, Sebas submits his humble opinion on the risks of unleashing a strongwoman like Antilene on the city. In the city, however, there are many back alleys and backstreets that are not so visible to the public.

Momonga can see his concern, as if it is easier for one to move, the same goes for your opponent. The butler goes on to say that they as Nazarick are concerned that the Theocracy will take some action. Therefore, he thinks they should not provoke Antilene, but focus on finding out what she will do. Demiurge takes insult as the butler is sounds like he is encouraging that they waste this opportunity to gather information. They will probably won't be able to get much information during the formal ceremony about the Slane Theocracy if they do not follow through with the plan.

Sebas argues that even if that is so, is worth increasing the possibility of danger? It would be foolishly to believe that under the circumstances, there is not much more valuable than the safety of all of those who are the forces that protect them. Demiurge is aware of the risks, calling out that he is not trying to pick chestnuts out of the fire. However, depending on the value of the information they might get from Antilene, it may be necessary to capture her alive.

Sebas asks if he is so confident enough to put his title as Floor Guardian on the line? The two begin bickering on their own perspectives of the situation. Momonga watches the discussion between the two grow more heated, the sigh making him think of his former "friends" who used to fight with each other all the time.

In the past, taking place in the Round Table Room, on a day in the life of Ainz Ool Gown, a guild of hetermorphs. The guild's members were discussing the day's objectives, as usual. Momonga speaks first asking what they should do today. Ulbert Alain Odle, suggests a trip to the cave he mentioned. The one Nubo found before. It won't be easy as the enemies near the entrance were quite tough, and it was time to disperse.

Peroroncino calls out that the specific cave was never touched due to the other caves being easier to conquer. Herohero remarks that the cave is the only one that has not yet been cleared. Ulbert thinks they have a chance to do so, as they have a good number of people present today.

Touch Me agrees that they have the manpower, but complains the meeting time is late. Adding that some of them may be tired after work, and it would be better to have a place where they can go safely, and where they can earn rewards in a fun and steady manner.

Ulbert objects as if you're tired, it's better to have something exciting than a boring quest that makes you fall asleep. It's sure to relieve work stress. Touch Me doubts on the success of that tactic. Ulbert then calls out is he thinks he will fail with his teammates? Touch Me states that is untrue. It's a challenge to an unknown place, so he is just saying that the possibility is not zero. But the other player thinks Touch Me is just twisting his words

Peroroncino observing the drama with Momonga, quietly complains that its happening again, and asks what they should do? Momonga tries to be a mediator as he understands both his companions view points.

Ulbert mentions to Touch Me that the latter wasn't able to come in for family services until the other day. And he recalled Herohero also saying that his job was dead, and yet he still came to the game. Herohero even comments that he tried to take a nap, but just couldn't fall asleep.

Ulbert attributes that to the stress from everyday life is building up. So he is trying to let everyone cut loose, boasting that he is the strongest in magic, and World Disaster, so there should be no excuse for the World Champion.

Back in Momonga's office, both Sebas and Demiurge are still arguing, with the latter saying that with the butler and Narberal’s security, they could sow some trouble. That there is a difference between prudence and cowardice, and thus doesn't know why Sebas is being so reluctant. The conversation ends, when Momonga calls attention.

Momonga takes sides with Demiurge's plan. Though voices that he understands Sebas's concerns and his desire to prioritize everyone's safety. But this is rare espionage opportunity where failure is not an option. But he asks Sebas to think about the meaning of them calling him, and what Demiurge is relying on him to proceed with this plan. Both the butler and demon are speechless, so Momonga states that this situation serves as a good opportunity for the Sorcerer Kingdom, so make sure they don't miss it, adding that he is looking forward to it.

Later in the hallway of the 9th Floor, the two NPCs are waling side by side. Demiurge finally speaks that they should discuss the plan again later with Shalltear. On this Sebas Tian agrees as both parties should be aware of the elements of concern before carrying out their duties. He also wants to do my best to meet his unreasonable expectations. Demiurge tells Sebas he doesn't need to tell him every single time. Rather, he asks him to guard Shalltear and the others. In particular, Shalltear as she is still growing through her failures and that Momonga probably wants her to succeed. Sebas affirms this, as this is their master's wish as they continuing walking through the corridor.[5]

At a certain place in E-Rantel. The farewell party was held promptly and without any problems. Representatives from the Kingdom, Empires, Theocracy, and Sorcerer Kingdom have gathered at the same place where the Tripartite Talks once took place, and are praising and encouraging the brave people participating in the rescue operation.

Zanac with Raeven and Gazef, calls international gathering to be a long-cherished wish of humanity, and what could be considered to a great first step. That is going through the Crack, where the  Chaos Beasts originated.

And that the residents of E-Rantel, who were thought to have been lost in the disaster, are still being held captive. Here those in attendance intend to transcend national boundaries and work together to carry out the rescue operation.

Jircniv, with Leinas and Nimble, adds his belief in their victory. Because they now have superior weapons, equipment to resist the environment on the other side of the Crack. He calls those gathered to be the heroes who will make full use of it. And gives acknowledgement to the nation whose generosity provided the mass-produce equipment to the Alliance. Once again, the emperor expresses his gratitude to the protagonist for his efforts and the great contribution of the Sorcerer Kingdom. The honor of victory and glory is with them and he looks forward to bringing it home safely.

Raymond, with Enhela and Antilene, makes a speech for everyone to overcome the trials given to them by the gods and connect them with hope for the future. He gives his blessings to those gathered as allies to the rancor of the crowd.

Ainzach, standing with Panasolei, Aura and Mare, calls everyone to attention, announcing that the protagonist will provide a supplementary explanation about the "chaos-adaptive equipment'' provided by the Sorcerer Kingdom. In this project to rescue the people trapped on the other side of the Crack, the key is to use the "equipment that adapts to chaos.''

The protagonist takes over, by first, telling the gathered about the equipment's performance which has been proven and mass production will be completed soon. And while there will be a bit of an inconvenience because there are restrictions on activity time and weiught, he is sure all of them who volunteered will have no trouble using it.

The guildmaster then asks everyone, in regards the safety of the equipment, due to the special manufacturing method and difficult maintenance, the leaders of the Alliance ask that they refrain from using it without the presence of the Sorcerer Kingdom. Panasolei interjects, that in the unlikely event that an accident occurs due to equipment, he would like to ask the volunteers again to make a fair judgment based on the consensus of the allied countries, including the insights of those other than those involved.

As they are all aware that this plan was only possible thanks to the kindness of the magical country, the mayor asks them to be mindful. Aura to herself, this is all just the general consensus, and while it sounds good, but both the Kingdom and the Empire have been turned into puppets. And that the Sorcerer Kingdom will no longer be at a disadvantage due to majority vote, among the Alliance, so these words are just a reminder to the Theocracy.

Panasolei then moves to the final part of the ceremony...giving two special guests from the Sorcerer Kingdom to speak. Taking that as their cue, Aura and Mare greets the attendees, thanking them for holding the send-off party and believing in their nation's equipment. They give thanks from His Majesty the Sorcerer King who has also expressed his gratitude to all of those who boldly challenge to the other side of the world.

The protagonist speaks, stating that there are many unknowns on the other side of the Crack, but I believe that if they join hands and join forces to defeat the horde of Chaos Beasts, there is nothing they can't overcome.

Aura tells everyone that today is their first new step. And how glad she is that everyone faces the same direction would and would like to continue to work together with them and turn the unknown into the known.

Applause is the sounds by those in the room with comments of agreement by the other representatives. Raymond observing the approval in the room m muses that the Sorcerer Kingdom is not an enemy they want to make.

Enhela notes that the nation is extremely popular. He asks Antilene what she think of seeing one of her kin being praised. Antilene finds it to be great, though to herself feels that they may not be related but still finds the dark elf twins to be beautiful, making her almost jealous.

Aura notices the half-elf watching her and Mare. Mare becomes worried of the girl due to Shalltear had called the half-elf strong. There is concern that she may become hostile. Aura keeps calm as for now she is confident that Antilene won’t give off any murderous intent. As it will be troublesome if others notice. So they must play things how they are.

Now that the formal ceremony is over there are still social gatherings with the other dignitaries. The twins consider using that time to approach Antilene. It becomes clear to the protagonist that the other side is also aware of Aura and Mare. And while he can't tell what their intentions are from their expressions, he thinks they are planning to gather information just like they are. Still it would be good to the protagonist if they could become friends.

After the send-off party, a gathering was held in the courtyard of the venue. Among those in attendance are Marquis Raeven, Lakyus, Gazef, Nimble, Zanac, Jirciv, Panasolei, Nigun, Leinas etc. Included are the adventurers who had been lined up in good manners at the ceremony and now have scattered as they wished, being treated to a feast of gratitude and words of expectation from their rulers.

Although the atmosphere was peaceful considering the operation's failure was not an option, the gathering generally seemed to be accomplishing its purpose correctly. In one corner, there was a group of people facing each other with a somewhat tense atmosphere. Aura and Mare, representatives of the Sorcerer Kingdom and the delegation from the Slane Theocracy.

Raymond starts a conversation, praising the speech at the ceremony made by Aura and Mare. Aura conveys her surprise to be greeted by the Theocracy, but finds the meeting to be agreeable to get out of their seats to talk. Enhela then calls Antilene over to the conversation.

Antilene addresses the twins, who show deliberate surprise at the girl. The half-elf understands there surprise, as the people of the Kingdom and the Empire, displayed the same reaction. Aura apologizes if she has offended her. Mare adds his confusion to Antilene as he never expected to meet a half-elf from the Theocracy, given the nation's human supremacist ideals.

Raymond clarifies that his nation did not change its religious beliefs. But Antilene is a cherish person, though admits whatever he might say could be related politics. The Cardinal states that Antilene wanted to come to the event this time. Normally she doesn't ask for much...but she wanted to make it come true and give. And underlines that there's no ulterior motive.

Enhela asks the twins if they mind making friends with this girl as they are elves may even come from the same hometown if they trace their ancestors. Mare and Aura doubt that they could be related, but they will try to get along well as they also want to talk to Antilene. There might be some topics that would be suitable for elves.

Antilene asks if they could see the city if possible. Since the twins are both okay with the arrangement, Raymond asks the pair to be Antilene's guides, whilst the priest attend to matters of state. The priests then leaving leaving the elves to themselves. Aura decides to start the tour, with Mare recommending they stop by the Adventurer's Guild.

From afar, Soi, waiting beside the feast table, watches their interaction, secretly noting that there are no abnormalities so far. Antilene is being handled by Aura and the others, while Sebas and Narberal are handling the movement of the Kingdom. Her mental thoughts are interrupted when Gagaran comes over to her asking if she is waiting for more food. Soi quickly confirms that she is, to which Gagaran offers that they take a whole platter with them and take this opportunity to submit their opinions to the authorities. The undercover adventurer plays along by agreeing, continuing her mission to observe the reactions of each country to the current response of her nation. Her aspiring hope is that they may be able to collect some souvenirs.

The other adventurer, clueless to Soi's evil machinations, shout to her colleague that from today they are the protagonists. Which is quietly denied by the Darkness adventurer. The send-off party, which served both as a thank you to the Sorcerer Kingdom and as a boost to the fighting spirit of those who planned to venture into unexplored territory for a rescue operation, was put to good use along with the thoughts of each of them.[6]

In front of Adventurer’s Guild where Surako is waiting, the three elves arrive. Surako informs them that the protagonist should soon arrive. He does come, with a guest, Shall who apologizes for the lateness due to handling a Contaminated Beast in the area providing a story that she originally thought it was just a stray until she found that it was part of a pack. Now it's time for Antilene to be surprised. Her surprise is reflected by the adventurer as she did not expect to she the girl in the city, who she greets as Anne.

Shall notes that Anne looks differently. Aura and Mare express their bemusement that the two know each other finding it s strange coincidence. In reality the reunion was more than a coincidence as it was scripted by the agents of Nazarick as part of a cover story agreed by Aura and Shall. Antilene find it good fortune that Shall was invited to the event. Shall elaborates that she heard from the protagonist that a farewell party will being held for those who plan to go on an important mission. The female adventurer wanted to see off the volunteers, however, never thought that she would be able to meet Anne again like this. Shall is honored that someone as strong as her remembered her face. And to boot that her friend was an important person from the Theocracy.

Antilene winces at being called an important person, as she is unsure. But tells her friend that everyone is taking good care of her as it seems like she was specially invited to wear her current costume. Aura takes a moment to enquire about the Theocracy's human supremacy doctrine, wondering if it has changed. But soon after apologizes if she was being a bit flippant.

Antilene actually feels better if they keep it normal, so its fine. Back to the question, Aura asks if there are any other elves in the country who are treated as well as Antilene? The half-elf though states she would not know as she doesn't get out much so she hasn't seen it. Mare asks if this means she's being imprisoned. Antilene states that she doesn't think so, but the ones taking care of her seemed to have listened to her selfishness and gave in to her.

Shall finds this intriguing, and Antilene claims her caregivers just asked her what she wanted. Now that she takes a moment to think, ANtilene wonders if it's okay to say this, hoping it doesn't cause any trouble. Surako though promises that this conversation will be a secret and they will be mute on the subject.

The protagonist invites her to stop by the Adventurer's Guild as it's a great opportunity, and he'd like her to try out the Sorcerer Kingdom's special chocolate candy. The other members of the Sorcerer Kingdom find the idea a good idea, and Antilene follows suit. Shall and Aura watching the target of their mission, muses to themselves that Antilene appears to be not undertaking any special mission. Aura confirms this, as she didn't see any suspicious signs before arriving to the area.

Although the Floor Guardian doubts that the Theocracy would just sent out an elven guest to curry favor with the Sorcerer Kingdom. But still, Aura considers that Antilene's presence is to evoke a reaction from the other non-allied nations. Shall thinks it would be more shocking to Theocracy that believes in the supremacy of humans. But, from what she heard when she met Antilene before, she seemed to have been taken good care of.

Mare from his perspective feels that Antilene, has been protected for a long time, and it would be a plus in the future to appeal to that. Aura still is uncertain, from what she has seen so far, it doesn't seem like she has any will to fight. And thinks it's best not to overreact too much. Mare understands as it would be bad if it their interaction affected the protagonist's diplomatic work.

Aura tells her peers that they are going according to the plan, and reminds Shall to remember what Demiurge had told her. The undercover adventurer affirms that she does. She will act as an intermediary with Antilene and show the world the state of peaceful exchanges between the Sorcerer Kingdom and the Theocracy. On top of that, she will collect information if possible.

Aura adds that there are other countries watching them, so Shall needs to be careful. It seems like they want to know about them too, so she'll tell their story as much as possible. Aura resumes her playful attitude with Shall, suggesting she go and try out the new chocolate, like a chocolate drink.

Shall finds the idea agreeable and soon the group follows behind Antilene in front of the guild. Antilene speaking with the protagonist, expresses to the Territory Guardian of how he knows Shall and Aura. The protagonist explains that the two brightened up E-Rantel by going around the city handing out chocolates together.

With Shall, a familiar face, joining them, the group was able to guide Antiene around the city in a relatively peaceful atmosphere. That said, this was also a unique opportunity to obtain information about the Theocracy and Antiene. For this reason, everyone was sensitive to every detail of the conversation and carefully selected topics.

While enjoying a chocolate drink, Shall exclaims of how delicious it is and asks Anne if she bought any of the colorful chocolate. The half-elf did, but seeing it was so delicious, decided to take it as a souvenir.

Aura laughs wondering aloud if there are many people in Theocracy who like chocolate, since Nigun likes the confection. Mare supposes that it could be, if rumors are spread. At the guild, the Sunlight Scripture is seen being coordinated by Ian and Nigun for the security of the city. Their presence in the city, amazes Antilene as Surako explains that soldiers from the Kingdom and knights from the Empire also participate in the security of the city, but it's the Sunlight Scripture who are actively working in the city.

Shall sees the captain and vice captain comments that the two are very strong. This illicit more surprise from Antilene, and Shall elaborates that it was during an exchange match held to celebrate the reconstruction of E-Rantel. Nigun even invited her to the Theocracy. This is new knowledge to Antilene who wonders if she should report this.

The protagonist speaks for Nigun's character as he has helped E-Rantel many times. Surako includes that he is a big fan of the Sorcerer Kingdom's chocolate sweets. The information brings a smile to Antilene, who decides to keep quiet on the matter. The wariness of Antilene is waning as noticed by Shall, who keeps it up by talking to her friend, by saying she is glad to see her again.

Aura reacts with some amazement of Shall's positivity, though it's all part of a rehearsed script. The adventurer claims that after the attack of the invisible enemy...after the disaster, she participated in the dedication demonstration at E-Rantel. It was the same back then, in the case with the efforts of reconstruction, but many countries joined forces and even decided to attack enemy territory. However, she couldn't even dispel her curse herself. Since then Shall was feeling discouraged. However, as she was able to see everyone's smiling faces again, and even had an unexpected reunion with Antilene, it was good fortune.

The protagonist is warmed by Shall's words in the reconstruction of E-Rantel. However the scars of the damage are still visible. Reconstruction of the buildings has progressed, and on the surface it looks the same as before, but the human casualties are still considerable. Surako adds that many of the townspeople who were thought to be dead are still alive and trapped on the other side of the Crack.

The twins explain that is the purpose of the rescue operation. And while there's no end to worrying about that, everything should be alright as it's not just the Sorcerer Kingdom, it's the Kingdom, the Empire, and the Theocracy all working towards the same goal. To which Shall expresses absolute belief when something shocks Antilene.[7]

At another street, a troop of skeleton warriors are marching. Antilene seeing them prepares to attack them, but is held back by the dark elves explaining they are part of the city guard prepared by the Sorcerer Kingdom. The sight still is stupefying to Antilene, and even Shall voices her shock too. But asks if shouldn't Antilene heard that it was the norm here in E-Rantel from the authorities in the Theocracy?

This question is geared to finding out how much the current state of the Sorcerer Kingdom is known within Antilene's country. Antilene vaguely states that maybe she was told, but thinks this is the first time she has heard of this. The honest answer, makes surmise that Antilene is not lying.

Mare explains that the undead are patrolling the city on a regular basis because there are more and more people going in and out of the city. With Aura adding that the undead are exterminating the Chaos Beasts that have sprung up from the Cracks and suggests that they go and check one out.

Shall's all for the idea, particularly in seeing Antilene's reaction, as she had reported originally that the girl seems to have a bit of an unusual reaction to Chaos Beasts in the first meeting. Aura is also interested as Demiurge asked her to see how Antilene reacts with Momonga's permission.

Mare still wonders what will happen, but is confident that with the three of them when Antilene gets out of control. Adding that their allies, Sebas is lurking in a nearly alley and Narberal monitoring the gate of the city. This is all in preparation to pull them out in the worst case scenario. The importance of this cannot be stress as they may not get another chance to gather information, so let's they need to take advantage of the opportunity.

Before they can act, a crowd of people surrounds the dark elves. They are all grateful citizens, wishing to give their thanks to the people of the Sorcerer Kingdom. All have hope they may see their loved ones soon. The crowd soon catches sight of Shall, with a few children remembering her as the Chocolate Girl, and banter her about her partner Ku. Shall answers that Ku is currently training in the forest, a story she prepared in case she was to be accosted by the residents of the city, but even she did not expect to be ambushed by them.

Mare notes that everything is not going according to the script. Worse they can't kill them humans because they are in the way. Aura makes the decision to leaving scoring points for the Sorcerer Kingdom to the protagonist and Surako, whilst she, her brother and Shall take Antilene away from the crowd.

The protagonist and Surako run a distraction, by asking everyone in the crowd their attention so that they can answer their questions about the upcoming operation. The other group manages to ditch the commotion and take refuge in an alley. Once they have some peace to themselves, the Nazarick agents ask Antilene if she is fine, given the suddenness of the situation.

Antilene is alright, though taken aback by the people of the city and how grateful they are to the Sorcerer Kingdom. Aura proudly states that the Sorcerer Kingdom is part of the Quadripartite Alliance, which is all about working together. Mare adds that this is the extent of their power when they expand the scope of what they can do through the Alliance, and that said it is the mission and responsibility of those who have power to do something.

Shall is glad that they managed to keep to the script on track. Now their plan is to emphasize that the Sorcerer Kingdom is working together with the other nations, to encourage a sense of guilt about keeping secrets with Antilene, and to make her become friends with them as it is all part of Demiurge's plan.

Antilene listening to her companions' praise to the Sorcerer Kingdom, can somewhat related. She is also indebted to everyone in the Theocracy. Though admits that perhaps she should try to employ herself more. Aura asks for more elaboration on this, as it seems Antilene is not active most of the time in her nation. It seems odd and a waste given her strength. What they reaped in information is not satisfactory to Shall.

Yet before they can inquire more, the group is approached by three men al three embittered about the process of the rescue opertion. One of the men, mumbles about of how the upcoming rescue operation is only for those who have money and that they are the ones who are going to be rescued. Another seeing the group, claims that the Sorcerer Kingdom has amazing equipment and begs them to share it with them as well as he wants to find friends trapped on the "other side" of the Crack. They even accuse the group of partying instead of preparing for the rescue mission.

Seeing them, Shall complains that they have been cornered again. Aura speaks to the trio, assuring them that they are all working hard to get the rescue operation going as soon as possible, but they can't leave until they have enough equipment for everyone. Besides, Mare states that the equipment can't be used by just anyone, as it needs to be adjusted for each person.

Antilene hearing this is disappointed as she wanted to try it out. Anyway Aura explains that it would be a disaster if they neglected to prepare for departure and the people who went to rescue them got lost. She understands that they are feeling anxious, but asks for patientience for a little longer.

Mare suggests that it might be a good idea to talk to the people at the various E-Rantel guilds as they could provide them with things to do to take their minds off. The three men are unconvinced, and believe that the elves just see them as deadbeats and are trying to get rid of them. Furthermore they accuse the Sorcerer Kingdom of using their monopoly of the equipment to make it more convenient for them.

Shall watching this laments that their entire plan has gone off script, all due to the stupidity of humans. Mare thinks perhaps that they need to kill these three, but Aura forbids it as the area could belong to the territory of these three men and may have other allies. Aura thinks that they need to call Sebas as he has some connections in the city to mediate between them.

Antilene takes a moment to address what the twins had said earlier, that strong people have a mission and a responsibility. From what she sees in these people, maybe it's okay to be irresponsible if you're weak. The men take this as an insult, and decide to take the group hostage using their numbers.

Mare is growing worried on how they should respond. Antilene apologies as she didn't think it would turn out like this. Though it can't be helped, Shall states that she, Aura and her brother have demonstrated their skills many times in E-Rantel, but it's disappointing that they aren't so well known to the bumpkins.

Aura opts to give the trio some punishment, with the help of Shall and Antiene. All three of the attackers are defeated to their shock. Two of the men run, leaving the third behind at the mercy of the ones they attempted to attack.

Shall tells the man that she mourns hisr misfortune. But using it as an outlet for his anger won't accomplish anything. There's still a lot of repair work to be done in the city, which Aura thinks they should use their energy there. If that is done, Mare is sure the rescued people would be very happy if they could create a place for them to stay.

Behind them, they are met by applause, by a crowd of watching locals, all impressed by the goodwill ambassadors of the Sorcerer Kingdom. Of how they treat even those who are in a bad mood with mercy and praising their strength.

The twins feels embarrassed of being exposed so vulnerably. Antilene is a bit perplexed by the outcome. Shall tries to turn her friend's mind away from the crowd, by tell the girl she was very careful with her technique, calling her amazing. Antilene responds in kind with her own words of positive comments to Shall. Aura is just relieved that they don't have to suddenly become enemies from now on. Even though she felt killing the ignornant men.

At the city gate, Narberal is relieved that she did not have to intervene as is Sebas. Although he laments that a certain someone secretly made the thugs in the town to become paranoid and incite them to go after the representatives of the Sorcerer Kingdom without Aura's permission. Honestly, he thought it was a careless plan for Demiurge, and he underestimated it. Of course the butler regrets that the plan went this far. Narberal doesn't understand what he means as if feels like the butler executed the plan brilliantly. Sebas denies that the plan went accordingly, as Demiurge went one step ahead of everyone else in believing that they would respond appropriately to his own plan.

At sundown the ceremony in honor of the Sorcerer Kingdom, which included various thoughts of nations and individuals, ended with the result of fulfilling its original purpose without any wickedness.[8]

Aftermath[]

In the carriage returning to the Slane Theocracy after the pep rally at E-Rantel, Enhela asks Antilene if they met her request.

Antilene answers that she was glad to have come. Albeit was a little tired from all the people, but got to see a lot of things. He then asks about the elves from the Sorcerer Kingdom. Antilene states that she can say that they are no from the same homeland, but appear to be good at hiding their strength.

Raymond feels if they can continue to be friends, it would very much appreciated. His charge knows that the cardinal is hoping that so much a bond will save them. Antilene has no issue because it’s the right thing to do.

The Cardinal admits that he actually liked Soi and Blue Roses. It was useful to hear the reputation of the Sorcerer Kingdom directly from adamantite class adventurers. He thinks it has reduced friction with other countries to some extent. Enhela is glad to hear that, because it seems that the contribution of the Sorcerer Kingdom, it also seems to have had a strong influence on the Theocracy in E-Rantel.

On that Antilene is not sure if it's a good idea or not.....but she reports that the Sunlight Scripture is also the city's constable and seems to be well-liked. She's heard that the captain, Nigun, likes chocolate. Enhela finds that information could be valuable, and asks if she bought some chocolate as souvenirs/

Antilene did though is worried now if everyone in the Black Scripture will eat it too. Overall, Raymond guesses it is safe to say that the experience had a positive effect on Antilene's mental health. It's astonish for him that the girl has behaved so humanly since losing her memories. And even thinks it was worth the headache of announcing her existence to the public. It surprises him that a life-or-death situation would be beneficial in creating an opportunity for exchange with the Sorcerer Kingdom. The cardinal hopes that the next time they have the opportunity it will be peaceful.

At the Round Table, Momonga debriefs those who participated in the prep rally event. The group report that they were able to interact with Antilene without any particular conflicts.

Aura states that due to Antilene remembering the adventurer Shar, they were able to become friendly with her relatively quickly. Shalltear still wanted to gather more useful information.

Mare on the other hand believed they were able to confirm what Shalltear had said, about Antilene about being a pretty strong person, so it's good that things went off without any problems.

Momonga believes Mare is correct. Besides, this exchange with Antilene will likely be a major stepping stone in their future intelligence activities. Albedo is also interested in the Antilene, seeing as she is a treasured possession in the Theocracy. And from what they can only assume, has not had much interpersonal interaction.

Demiurge voices that they were able to create the possibility of continuing to interact with such an entity. And while this may seem trivial, but it is a valuable result of the challenge. Sebas clarifies if the demon is referring to his strategy of involving an unspecified element of human behavior like "inciting disaffected humans"?

In his humble opinion the fact that things went so well was due to the accumulation of Shalltear’s actions in the past. Demiurge should be proud of it, but there is no need to bemoan it. Sensing a fight, Shalltear tries to distance herself, but it’s too late as Demiurge delivers his rebuke at the butler. In his view he would say that the results were better than expected, accusing Sebas wasn't happy with the plan.

Sebas has no complaints at all. However, it is a little regrettable that the Floor Guardian did not inform them of his intentions in advance. The demon counters that he trusted that they would understand at least some of the alterations to the plan without the need for him to explain.

Sebas presses the issue as the withholding of information goes against the idea of "reporting, communicating, and consulting" that Momonga always talks about. Demiurge insulted finds the idea of his disobeying Momonga’s orders to be a preposterous idea. The growing arguments starts to annoy Albedo as they are bickering before Momonga. Although Shalltear wonders if she should be glad that she is being praised by Sebas. Aura tries to calm things down since everything is okay as the plan was a success. However things are normal for things to turn out like this with Sebas and Demiurge. Still Mare things they should stop.

As the two continue to argue, Momonga feels nostalgic, as they remind him of Ulbert and Touch Me when they would often argue like this even after their missions had been successful. This brings to mind of the past days at the guild of Ainz Ooal Gown. Taking place in a non-descript cave, it was when Ulbert and Touch Me were playing to see who could beat the boss. But things did not go as they expected since, Peroroncino's covering fire worked better than expected.

He remembers how Peroroncino profusely apologizing for almost shotting his teammates, and inadvertently killing the boss, spoiling their fun. Bukubukuchagama was furious for her brother not reading the situation, and demanded that he get down on his knees and apologize. Her brother pleads that he did not intend for this to happen.

Ulbert feels that it's fine. The raid was a great success, and it wasn't like Peroroncino fell asleep in the middle of battle so he is satisfied with the outcome. Momonga asks Touch Me how he feels on the outcome, and is answered that the World Champion had fun and refreshing to have this kind of co-op rather than just picking a safe quest from the start. He adds that he also had a lot of fun ramping up after not being in for a long time so it was a good stimulus.

And thus feels that even Peroroncino is definitely justified his little overwhelming strength so there is no need to apologize. The mood now more milder, Ulbert teases that Touch Me wanted some excitement on this adventure. The comments is taken in stride by Touch Me, disappointing Ulbert in failing to goad his friend in another bickering session, causing Peroroncino to laugh with Momonga of how much he likes this guild.

Momonga in the present, agrees with Peroroncino of loving Nazarick, then and now. He breaks in laughter, causing the argument to cease as all in the room are stunned to hear such a sound from their liege. After the emotion negation kicks in, Momonga apologizes for the rude behavior. Though all think they have done something rude and try to apologize.

Momonga says that is not the case, as the words he just said for them. Instead he turns attention to highlight the main points of the meeting. At this ceremony celebrating the Sorcerer Kingdom's great achievement, they received proof of the humans' submission. So there is no need to point blame.

Both Sebas and Demiurge acquiesce to Momonga's decision. The Overlord decides that they should have a party even bigger than the humans', and celebrate the glory of Nazarick, which will continue for all eternity. Albedo can only agree, and having thought he would make this decision, went ahead and already prepared the groundwork. To Demiurge it's not hard to surpass the humans' feast, but thinks they should make this a grand and exciting one that will be remembered by everyone!

Sebas adds that he and the maids will do their best to make the banquet a perfect one. Mare goes to get Cocytus for the festivity. Aura deduces that the party will take place on the 6th Floor and goes there to ready. Momonga seeing them working together, laughs, reminding them to remember to enjoy themselves first.

As everyone goes off to make preparations, Momonga muses that all his friends children are working together just as hard as they did. Hence he will continue to work with these children to make Nazarick a prosperous and strong place to live. Still he hopes that one day he could see his friends again.

On this night, a feast was held in the Great Tomb of Nazarick. The feast held in the tomb was so long and so grand that even those who had duties to perform could take turns, and it left a deep and warm impression in everyone's memory.[9]
