Hello once again everyone here on the Overlord Wiki. I have the news you've all been waiting for. Overlord Light Novel Volume 14 will be coming on March 12 2020. It was just announced this morning and we're exited. This new Novel will have a giant 576 pages of new content in it. Soon the wait will be over my friends and when we get information we will post it on the Volume 14 page as soon as it's made available and as soon as we actually create the page.

"A magic carriage was attacked by kingdom nobility. Nazarick declared war on the kingdom, even though it was a plot, when he decided that the kingdom chose to fight in front of the magical nation. The ruthless extermination strategy by Nazarick has begun."
Sounds awesome but not what I was expecting so he's targeting full take over of the Kingdom. I figured since he already controlled the underground network and had the princess in waiting he would naturally have them fold into his kingdom.
I need to finish reading the light novels to get caught up.

The summary makes it seem as if it will be another Splat show, but I think Albedo's annexation plan for the kingdom through famine is still in order. Vol. 14 might be 2 years after vol. 13 for all we know, which means the population is starving by vol. 14.
Still a ring way to go but I can wait.

Now I don't want to be the weird guy because I have a hard time reading the novels so dose any one know how long to might take them to translate this to a manga or anime
@Death knight 4999 A VERY long time for the manga as the manga is still in volume 6, anime it depends. Volume 14 should be Season 6 assuming we get to there.
Will it be fan translated on release? As far as I know the main translator for the novels is no longer translating Overlord... Otherwise we'd have to wait a few years for the official translation...
@Death knight 4999 Coming off of what Jordan added, I was going to say reading Light Novels isn't bad if you get them in the actual illustrated novel form, but to my knowledge nobody's done a full scan rip and translation, so we're all either stuck with raw text or learning Japanese. Really though, I would recommend just biting the bullet and reading the text in chunks like you would a book.
