Invent your kingdom. What is it about? How strong are is it?. How will you rule it. Are you going to be a wise king or a ruthless dictator The choose in yours. There are no Limits.
Most would want to have a strong, well defended kingdom where the citizens are happy. And being wise is quite a task. The real question is how would you do it?
For me, my walls will literally be made out of stone guardians/golems like in the disney movie "Atlantas" except their side-by-side that solve's defense to an extent. For power, Armies of elder Dragons. To make the citizens (any concious peaceful species & don't necessarily eat others) happy/safe, I would try a similar system as Ainz but with Dragoniods (Like Sebas Tian).
My kingdom would be strong kingdom full with knights, monster and demi-human people would be kind people that live in peace but there are always ready for war when is needed to.
Is going to be a system of monarchy with the highest authority would be the king and his royal family and of course the bad side is there slavery for all creatures like human, elves, vampires, demons, angels, lizedmen, unread and the others but there Is an ancient law than can not be broken if you are the strongest you are the new king. Plus my kingdom would be on the sky with the ability to transport anywhere and everywhere via superior magic.
My favorite part of that kingdom is the teleport part. You can avoid any war or surprise/invade any country
Another kingdom would be living in a impenetrable clear sphere/bubble where the middle of the sphere would have primary gravity meaning the bubble would have 2 sides the top of the semi-sphere and bottom of the semi-sphere. The only way in is through permitted teleportation by the king or king's administrators; however, outsiders can't enter with a false name, meaning if you were named Robert at birth, but never learned your real name you can't enter, but there is magic that can identify who you actually are. The bubble can teleport itself and float in the sky if needed too, and exchanges old air with cleansed outside air. The bottom side of the kingdom is basically the business side where work is taking place , guilds, training, military, armies, education of melee & magic & runecraft. newcomers usually go through the bottom side to go threw customs and fill out applications and learn about the laws. On top of the kingdom lives the citizens and royals. On the edges of the top semi sphere is a ring of garden where kids can play and run. The castle is in the middle and surrounded by trees/Dryads that are subjects and eyes of the king. After that are homes for the citizens then grocery stores and parks and finally farms where both adults and children can earn a buck if they desire too, Usually stone golems and wood golems do the farming & harvesting, but a little help never hurts. The training would be done in MEDIUM aka underground, the area between the top and bottom, but in reality its in the bottom it also can't be seen through the bubble. In the medium are iron, stone, wood golems and voluntary citizens/adventurers/solders like dragons, dragoniods, War Trolls, orges, etc to train adventurers and soldiers. In the medium is a long wide hall way, on the sides are doors to rooms, each room is a different levels (Lv 1 to 100) with different situations. You are allowed to kill/destroy the golems but not kill the volunteers. Youngsters often try to enter to prove/show off their strength or magic, in the past some have died for entering high level rooms. So now, the entrance is closed and can only teleport in through by permission of trainers, the guild masters, military leaders, admins, or king. Golems are used in the military and volunteers that have to pass the training or train until level 25. Often dragons are asked to join if they desire to and usually do out of respect/fear of the king to prove useful to him. Violation of laws are punished by levels: Lv 1 stealing or cheating (1st offense, warned and taken to watch a tour of 2nd offenders in punishment) if second offense you are locked in a level 15 training room for 2 weeks with only water where you defend or fight for yourself against golems for 7 hours 3 times a day with an hour brake in between, volunteers are not allowed in these punishments. When you are released you are allowed 2 full days rest and option jobs if desired. Lv 2 unjustified assault is treated as a 2nd offense no warnings. Lv 3 unjustified murder get to choose; fight/defend for yourself in a level 20 training room till death (only punishment where golems are allowed to kill) or treated as a 2nd offense then banished. A Lv 1 3rd offense is banished, a Lv 2 2nd offense is banished.
Another kingdom, more like Spartan culture except both genders go through the harsh training and the weak are simply work underground believed to be dead until they're adequately strong to work outside forgotten with a new name. The successfully trained citizens are lv 27-31 with most classes in Warrior, caster, racial, assassin, fighter, stalker, thief while the working class is lv 20-26 since their somewhat trained and work in many job classes such as smith, cook, druid, spy, warrior, caster, farmer, hunter, etc. The training is divided by race and age with each going through extreme conditions. The ones with the most respect are the elder and ancient dragons since their crazy old and then the normal spartan culture respecting the elderly, the dead that died at battle, and living warriors. After training most specialize in a type of warrior/caster or both to improve their battle value. No fortifications, the trained citizens are the walls. Lots of magic weapons. Workers can have fame if they have great talent in spying, forging, inventor, summon monsters, or useful "Talent"s.
Secret Dragon Kingdom - they live on the surface and under ground. The border is bounded by the scotch marks left by the ancient dragons guarded by elder or adolescent dragons, usually found asleep spaced out along the reburned scotch marks for warmth, they wake up when their noses catches the smell of new items not necessarily high quality. Past those lines is Dragon country. The rest of the surface is more of a play area for new born or young dragons. Most dragons or older dragons travel, hunt, explore, adventure, find treasure, etc and return later. Underground are many many tunnels, caves, mines, rooms, halls. The biggest space underground is the treasure room aka the King's room where the king sleeps obviously on top of the treasure. The room has enough space for 200 full grown dragons to sleep which he allows since more dragons means more protection. The traditions is the stongest dragon is king, no stealing from a fellow dragon or death, they can do whatever they want outside the kingdom except treason, dragons enjoy to sleep where it smells good where there's a lot of high quality items like gold and that's why everyone likes to sleep in the kings room, trial by council, council full of the wisest dragons usually ancient dragons. All dragons have the right to their treasure meaning my treasure my bed not sharing and can spend it if desired they have their own room of tressure. The king and/or council can decide how to spend money from the treasure room no one else. King can be vetoed by council and vise versa which is very rare since the king is part of the council and are usually on the same page. Often dragons contribute 50% of their treasure to the kings room so that the pill can be bigger so that there be more space to sleep. There are mines where a few dragons are interested in mining, but usually visit the dwarves kingdom or quagoa and steal their minerals and jewels. Most dragons get educated through travel and later books, few are the other way around. Dragon battles, marriages are held in the sky or surface.
Outside viewers think the area is just a den of dragons and often have Wars which is actually just battles for king position.
