Not to be rude but facts are not fair, except if their lies that are one sided and are seen as facts.
Four of the systems didn’t EXIST in Yggdrasil so it is literally impossible to compare tier magic to someone of a similar level. A level 100 with no special skills or abilities would dumpster a level 70. 1) because stat advantage. 2) because gear. As far as I know the highest confirmed level in the nw is about 80, so it isn’t an apt comparison to compare a world item (rubedo) and adamantite class adventures. Martial arts are basically skills learned when leveling a warrior job class but in the nw. Rubedo is said to be primarily melee so she would use skills from Yggdrasil similar to martial arts... so does that mean martial arts are the strongest because of their similarity to skills?
It’s like sending two identical space ships. One two the moon and one to the sun and when the one to the moon gets back first saying it’s faster
To your question "Rubedo is said to be primarily melee so she would use skills from Yggdrasil similar to martial arts... so does that mean martial arts are the strongest because of their similarity to skills?" the answer is no, because even if she fight melee the only similarity to martial arts is that they fight at close range or hand to hand like Yuri monk skill's (not a martial art) and Touch Me a paladin or warrior with "WORLD Champion" as his class and Ainz admits that not even all the 41 supreme beings would stand a chance against her. The similarity does not prove that martial arts is greater than Tier magic, but it does prove that whatever Rubedo's abilities are are greater than tier magic in terms of power and confirms that she is the strongest character in the NW so far. (WORLD is capitalized out of respect not rudeness plus its awesome.) Don't mix speculation with facts. We know that wild magic became less powerful with the introduction of tier magic into the NW. The Dragon race with wild magic couldn't defeat the 8 greed kings except 1. I don't know how old the dragons were but they were a live a lot longer than them and the humans and since dragons become stronger with time they odd to have wild magic and at a high level. Basically, 8 players almost killed off the dragon race. So with this I can assume that Tier ,magic is greater than wild magic.
Also Zy'tl Q'ae from the 1st overlord drama cd is confirmed to have the highest known level so far from the NW and OP HP literally off the charts. I wish I had that HP.
Also, from your examples I only understood that speed or rate of change does not matter and that rubedo should not be used for comparison. Whether she was created with or without a world item does not matter, it does not ignore that she is still a being, a NPC, and a character. So it would be unfair to ignore that fact.
With that we can conclude that knowledge about her so far cannot support the topic abilities only her own whatever her's may be.
Finally, Choosing Tier magic is more beneficial than martial arts since it helps society easier and is quicker to enchant items than runecraft and like Fluder live a long time like 200 years.
Dude understand sarcasm
She will have warrior skills. As touch had world break (the strongest warrior skill) she will have skills optimized for combat. Also I looked over everything said about her and remember npcs mentioning that rubedo was made differently. Meaning she has caloric ore core. So in the end the answer is that world items are the strongest.
It would be completely fair because we are trying to figure out which is the strongest. The only way to accurately compare the skills is by comparing them in characters of similar level and experience. Did you not get that from my examples? It’s blatant logic.
Sorry Doctoreho I'm not very good with sarcasm both in typing and real life xD so sorry about that.
And yes. All the abilities have potential however we will not know perfectly until the author states which is the best or in his light novels. so far we can tell only the excelled tier magic and lower tier magic, but not the lower level non-Yggdrasil abilities. So anything we say is invalid sadly.
With that I rather choose an ability that is well known instead of partial information plus (I know I've said this already) I want to live a long time. So for me Tier magic and that's my choice.
Ok that’s cool but think about how it was phrased. “Have and excel” could imply anything so I decided to try to set them equal. In order to have and excel at wild magic u would have to be a pretty high level and a dragon so I tried to brainstorm how strong each of the others would be at that level (about 60) with the person only being able to do that one thing. For tier magic they would be about 8th tier. For martial arts they would have nearly 50 based on Brain’s amount and approximate level (unless they don’t get martial arts exponentially faster with higher level). For rune Smith’s they would have around 10-20 runes depending on if they excel enough to innovate it but I think it will probably stronger than gear made with the tier magic but weaker than the gear made in Yggdrasil by level 60 craftsman because it will have up to 20 buffs (faster movement, penetrate up, damage up etc) but won’t have good enough materials to match the Yggdrasil gear unless Ainz supplies the materials. For talents (talents can range from useless to amazing based on if their personality matches the talent) overall I think talent have the highest potential but can’t be only by itself because it usually has to do with the other systems (summons are stronger, can learn tier magic quicker, can use wild magic, can use any item imbued with magic etc.) so no talents alone aren’t the best but I prefer the chance of getting a talent that lets me use a top tier spell (grasp heart). The only one I believe would be the strongest on its own would be wild magic because it’s an unknown and was able to create an item that does something that even super tier magic can’t (5 lvl boost on warrior lvls “rigrits ring”). But yeah rn the strongest is tier magic at its top tier but we have to consider no other system has been pushed to its maximum cap (because dragons get better at wild magic as they age and all the dragons left alive are either young compared to the dragons that died to 8gk or hid from them which would leave people to believe they probably would have died as well) so wild magic doesn’t seem to have reached its peak so I believe later in the series Ainz will have dragons innovate it to its max and it will be the strongest system. Martial arts are used by low level bitches with few innovators (brain, vesture, erya, etc). Rune smithing is basically extinct, and there isn’t really any way to improve talents aside from luck of the draw. So here is my finale opinion. If excel means to use it to its current know max then I choose tier magic. If it means it’s full potential I choose wild magic because we know that it has the potential to surpass tier magic. If we are talking about starting as a low level human I would chose talents because those have the highest potential with the least work. If I could maximize the potential of martial arts I would use those to style on people. If I wanted to be a crafter I’d of course use rune craft. So those are my opinions on it. So overall I choose talents for the easier work.
What do you think?
