You see, everyone’s been speculating a sht ton about Zesshi ever since Maruyama’s tweet about her being the overlord of the new world came out, oh and btw, just skip all this below if you don’t want to read, since it’s gonna be a lot of me blabbering about the story.
But the problem is that info is kind of vague, and perhaps she could be as the tweet bluntly says the strongest entity in the NW, but it could just be Maruyama’s way of having thinking about it and adding more depth to the plot going into the future. And perhaps if the tweet isn’t what it seems like and her being the overlord of the new world is only including the humanoid and perhaps even Demi-Human races, then perhaps it’s also correct for us to believe that the DL might not be included, since they are also part of the heteromorphic race.
And I’ve been exploring this topic lately as well and seen that some people talked about Godkins, since ZZ is the child of, maybe, perhaps, two godkins, the previous trump card of ST, and the annoying ass arrogant elf king we saw in volume 11, and how they could be around level 65, which sounds like a bit of an overstretch, that is if we include all the information we have thus far.
First of all we have little knowledge of what level the SGG of ST or the EGK are at, but we can at the very least, assume that the EGK are not at max level, since it’s mentioned somewhere(don’t exactly remember where) that they were seemingly farming exp, which isn’t something you’d do if you were maxed level player in Yggdrasil, and like Ainz, if you found out you couldn’t go past the level limit of 100 at 99.9% exp, then there’s no point in wasting your time doing so. Then what level could they be? They could be anywhere between the 80’s, to 90, I’m saying this even with the fact that they had killed Surshana the leader of ST SGG, because the EGK were all in the same guild, so it’s safe to assume that they had enough power to fight a single, probable, level 100 player, which we don’t even know for sure yet if any players other than Ainz or any npc from Yggdrasil was level 100 in the NW.
Since Yggdrasil started its decline in popularity 10 years after release, high likelyhood that people who are maxed in level, but basically still come on everyday to play like Ainz is wholly comparable to finding a needle in a barn full of haystacks, since there weren’t any new things that were implemented, we can safely assume that there might’ve been quite a bit max out players, throughout the whole game world of Yggdrasil that had come on to revisit their guild perhaps in the last day of the game, but the probability of them being like Ainz and saying up till 12 am is basically nonexistent, since they don’t live in the game, but instead in the real world, where they need to work or do other things than to stay up for perhaps hours in the game, although they perhaps won’t be doing anything other than exploring around their guild. And we saw that not much of Ainz Oaol Gown’s(the guild) members came during the last day of the game, and if I remember correctly, only 2 of the 41 members had bothered, or remembered to come even for a little bit according to Ainz(Momonga at the time), and they were all very close friends too and they prob also have a very deep attachment towards their guild and Nazarick, which they poured their life and sweat to make into their base and basically an inconquerable dungeon, even in Yggdrasil.
That said, the likelyhood of another level 100 being teleported, or whatever you want to call it, to the NW is as I said, highly unlikely, but I’m not saying there’s no way since Ainz is a fine example, but having perhaps 6 level 100’s? That’s what you would call basically non existent probability, and that is to say that the other 5 didn’t immediately kill Surshana considering he was an undead, (I’m gonna assume he was a Lich and not something like Ainz, who is an overlord) and we know that undeads, or heteromorphic races were something the game basically wanted Humanoid races to hunt as they didn’t give any penalties and instead gave rewards for(I think? Not sure, remember I read this from somewhere and is also mentioned in the anime? Question mark?), so I’ll assume the SGG were probably around level 70 to perhaps 90, and I’m lowering their lowest level lower than the EGK because they were the first batch of “players” to come to the NW, and accordingly to what we know, I’ll assume that the human race at the time had a highest level human at perhaps level 20-30, and 30 as the highest, since it was mentioned that humans were basically hunted to near extinction at the time, and that they were saved by the SGG, who also taught the humans they were taking care of tier magic, the first time tier magic was introduced to the NW, although only a small amount of humans know about it at the time.
We might not have seen anything about the SGG farming for exp, or maybe they were by saving the humans and basically eliminating nearby Demi humans and heteromorphs. Now for the EGK, we know that they weren’t level 100 as they were farming for exp, but what level would they be then? That is very very annoying and hard to figure out and is bound to trigger a lot of arguments no matter what since we simply don’t have enough information, and most of what I’ve seen people say are level 100’s, no idea where you got your basis of that from, and somewhere in the 80’s and 90’s, which is also where I put my bet on. See, if we had more information, like perhaps on how much WCI the EGK had as a guild, and if the SGG had more than one WCI, which is highly unlikely, since Ainz Ooal Gown was the guild with the most WCI at 11, and the next guild with the most had 3, and that is to say that they were a big guild and had hundreds of members, compared to Ainz Ooal Gown who only had 41 members. So if the EGK had a WCI of their own, they “probably” do, and again, NOT ENOUGH information, just guesses, then they might’ve been able to use that to their advantage when they were fighting Surshana during their conquest, and that is to say that the WCI helped them win if Surshana didn’t have downfall of castle and country on him, to render the effect of the EGK’s probable WCI useless. So perhaps they had used the WCI(probable, unlikely) to take him down, then that would lower heir levels immediately, since WCI all had the power of a world, especially those of the “twenty”, which were all limited time or one time use WCI’s, in which Ainz Ooal Gown is in possession of two of them if I remember correctly. So all in all, EGK- Approximately level 80-90, SGG probable 85-very low 90’s(Surshana), might be a LOT lower, if Surshana was something like a higher tiered Lich and not something similar to Ainz, an overlord.
So now onto the topic of godkins, which were supposedly descendants of players, mainly the SGG, now what level would they approximately be? My estimates(note that estimates aren’t always reliable if they at all) are that first generation godkins were prob around level 65-70 fully grown and basically someone like Gazef who is a fully grown warrior compared to our annoying dense asf climb who is still growing, which could be a kid or teen Godkin who hasn’t fully unlocked all their abilities yet. For second generation godkins, perhaps level 60 is their level cap, give or take, since remember, they’re that level of power when basically naked, as in having no powerful equipment on them, but probable high 70’s if fully equipped with things like probably legendary armours and perhaps a divine level equipment.
Now for Zesshi............. yea I’m gonna say Zesshi’s level cap is no higher than level 70, and is now probably around level 65, and again, all my OPINION, this is the point of having forums and posts like these, to get other people’s view to see if you can find and agree on something, and I say that Zesshi’s at most level 70 as her cap because it wouldn’t make sense for her to be much higher if she was only the child of two godkins, who “has less pure blood” than a real player. And I’m saying that she’s higher than first and second generation godkins because she was a real talent who had unlocked basically all her abilities, and that is to say that she’s gonna have a very difficult time getting stronger, since it’s like Fluder who’s basically unlocked everything he can as a human of the NW at tier 6 magic, not being able to get pass that barrier, and sure she might be able to grow, but again, I’m gonna say her cap is at level 70. Now the captain of the Black scripture says to Zesshi that she can beat the vampire(shalltear) when it’s unarmed with powerful gear, but take note about that statement of his, since it sounds to me, and should to basically everyone watching, COMPLETELY BIASED ASF, like yo, all shalltear did was fire a last ditch beam after being hit by the WCI, which has the power of a “world”, and she still managed to kill a few and injure a few of the Black scripture members as well.... like, I’m absolutely sure, that they would’ve wholly gotten absolutely destroyed if not for the fact that they had a WCI which could absolutely turn the tables on anyone without one, and that is to say that she could do it even without having to use her gear and equipments. And he also, take note of this, doesn’t want to “believe” that shalltear has crazy equipments or is stronger than Zesshi, since Zesshi is their strongest trump card, and he doesn’t want to believe that their strongest can’t beat shalltear since the world could possibly experience another EGK era if that happens.
I’d say the captain of the blacks scriptue, who we can probably safely say is the ‘strongest’ “human” in the ST, and that is excluding the godkins like Zesshi, would probably be at around the low-mid 50’s, and I’m only saying that because i saw somewhere before that he would be able to beat solution or something, that he would be able to beat one of the pleaides battle maids, so give or take low -mid 50’s is a good estimate and anywhere beyond that wouldn’t make much sense as that would mean that he is possibly more powerful than Evileye and most of the 13 heroes, as well a him being able to take on quite a bit of DL by himself. I’m also saying level 50’s with him having his equipment btw, perhaps not much if any of legendary grade or higher, but definitely good equipment human wise since most people just have shabby iron swords. Take note that even 10 levels is a big ass difference in the NW as shown with climb and Gazef with climb around level 15 and Gazef somewhere in the 30’s and gazef was able to completely demolish climb with a stick(I think? XD), and that is to note that they were “low” levels, let’s not even talk about how big of a power gap of 10 levels will be pass level 50, it’ll be something like a child vs an adult, which would prob describe captain of Black scripture with Zesshi.
Now for the question of how powerful DL’s will be, from the dwarf kingdom arc, we saw the Frost Dragon Lord, who we can safely assume is around 150 years old, since one of his firstborn child if not his firstborn child, Hejinmal, was around 40 something years old now, and let’s say he was 150 years old, and we also know that he is level 46 from his character sheet, then lets assume that dragons which can get more powerful as they grow older, and if they put a bit of effort and hunt and kill other creatures for exp, would possibly be able to reach level 60 at the age of 200, then we can safely assume that PDL, who is probably around 300-400 years old, as he was able to go with the other 12 of the 13 heroes to kill the evil deities, or demon gods, so he was roughly level 50 around the time, and since he’s around 200 years older now, he might now be somewhere along the low to mid 70’s, and possible, although very very unlikely, low 80’s, which would technically make sense, since ST is afraid of angering the Argland council, and this could possible contribute to why, since they feel like Zesshi would be able to fight the PDL possibly with her equipments from the SGG, but defeating it might be a problem, as well as the fact that there are also more DL that’re possibly level 50-60. I’d also assume that PDL wouldn’t be higher than level 80 because he had said that his father, the dragon emperor was stronger than him but was still slain by the EGK, which would make the dragon emperor probably somewhere in the 80’s, which wouldn’t be enough for him to fight the EGK who were all around the same level if not higher. PDL was also shown in the Bloody Valkyrie Arc to have been able to draw out shalltear’s equipment after attacking, which would make sense if PDL was somewhere in the 70’s
So I’d say that the ranking would be EGK and SGG at the top, which would be somewhere from 80-95, then it would be the previous dragon emperor who would be somewhere in the 80’s, then it would be the PDL and DDDL and I’d assume that they would both be around the same level, around 70, then I’d place Zesshi at around level 65 unequipped, other godkins at around 55, captain of BS around 45-50, and so on.
I probably messed something up somewhere, sorry for the long asf post q.q, didn’t realize I wrote so much until 10 minutes later and decided to just continue :p, please tell me what you guys think, this is the point of having arguments, as you’re trying to convince the other side that you’re argument is correct xD
