Yes, that's the worst part. If Yen Press just decides to drop Overlord, that will be the end of any chance of us getting translations. Unless of course you want to rely on Google.
But you still have to find the raw pages, optical recognition software and then use google translate.
But if we buy the anime's Blu-Rays and if the numbers are right it doesn't matter what Yen Press does we still be able to follow Overlord.
Well, skythewood's team is also having conflicts with Yenpress too. They are also currently just as troubled as the readers too. They are either going to play hide and seek with them or translate underground when the team disbanded or even get the license themselves too.
Anyway, going at the current pace. The team conclude that they can finish translating everything that the overlord have published so far till vol 9 or even vol 10 before the site was taken down.
Some of you translators are nice.
Don't go to Yen Press tomorrow if you work in Yen Press as a translator for Overlord.
Happening massacre shootout will be broadcast tomorrow.
So long my fellow heteromorphic race!~
If only Skythewood translation group were official translators, maybe they could've licensed Overlord volumes for themselves. Their translation quality is far better than some of Yen Press's works like No Game No Life.
Yeah, some of them wanted to do that. But some of the members of the team firmly said that they are doing it for free and just for their interest and hobby whioe not being paid to do so. Like me. XD
Even if you guys were licensed, they would still do their own editing and would force skythewood to do the standard 3 volumes a year release.
