I really hope we can get vol.9 translated and hosted by sky, though we can't ask them to risk getting charged for making unofficial translations if Yen Press owns the license.
We will get the rest of volume 8th and entire 9th volume. This is where translation will probably stop. Tho i think we may get volume 10 too. Anything after that is highly unlikely. Well, there are always ways....
At least we'll still get detailed summaries. It'll take far too long for the official translations to catch up to where we are right now. Anyone know of any good translation tools? Seems as if that's the only way left to keep up with Overlord.
My hope is that Sky can at least finish Volume 9 since it seems to be a natural ending point. But I am actually looking forward to buying the books. I hope that Yen Press will release 1-9 at once but more than likely they will take their time to see how is sells first
According to what people said, they won't. It wouldn't be an issue at all, in fact it would have been better than fan translation were it not for ridicilously slow release time. I don't have time to wait for a decade before they actually catch up with japanese release. Worse even, my hype and interest in overlod will most likely be gone over few years. That's why it's such a huge issue.
